The strange thing is that their "developer" made the post about this update only on Dec. 7th ... WOW ... he only needed 8 days to realize that a patch went out ?

Installed Deadfall.Adventures-FTS, Deadfall.Adventures.Update.1-FTS & Deadfall.Adventures.Update.20131129-FTS, added
-seekfreeloadingpcconsole -fullscreen to the shortcut and my game is still crashing at the start, i tried hotfix 1 & 2 too (i use windows 8.1 x64 if that helps)..
What did i do wrong ?

you dont need to add anything to your shortcut!! you start the game with the launcher..
from the .nfo file

First i started the game without adding that to the shortcut, didnt work, then i tried with it just to see if that will fix the problem. Now i did a clean install and i notice this error on the last update:
and yeah, the game with update 1 works just fine

idk why you are having this issue.. i fully tested this update on our FTS release with update 1(zero day update) and the RELOADED release..
do you have atleast 5GB of backup HDD space while installing the update?

xdelta patch was a no go, so i had to download the 3dm update 4 and just copy the files, added the ali crack and it works

There is nothing wrong with the xdelta patch + reloaded version.
