Just finished the game after applying the last update, much better than I expected reading the reviews it got with bad ratings.

I thought exactly the same after I finished the game some days ago. The critics were quite bad, while imho it's a real good and funny game that had some bugs at the start, but it was absolutely underrated!

well thing is that gunplay on release was ridiculously bad, unresponsive and overall felt bad - latest patch fixes that issues

I don't think that this can be done in some minutes or hours because there are bunch of files. Anyway, you can use the files in the attachment, instructions are included, have fun.

The files are still english, they need to be translated first because there is no italian language pack for the game, if you can't change the language using the ini from the emu you are using even if the files are translated, open ADVEngine.ini in C:\Users\<NAME>\Documents\My Games\Deadfall Adventures\ADVGame\Config and scroll down to [Engine.Engine] and below change Language=INT to Language=ITA and save the file.

Almost every Unreal crap can't be translated because have stored texts into UPK etc... And upk's are very sensitive on changing bytes which result to crash game.

It's working pretty fine for ingame texts (i added the word "Italian" in the test) and subtitles without replacing or changing existing files, just adding them.

With WinGrep you can literally play through and translate the whole game while making progress.

a_Quat_SaharaOut_CIN01 would be the first subtitle file that will be used after starting a complete new game (you can use Windows Grep to search for particular text that appears ingame through multiple text files - also with custom extensions - without opening every single file manually), never used it before but works pretty good. http://www.wingrep.com/

Hmm... but I am talking about these texts. Hex value [4F] before text indicates length of text in decimal value. Only thing which I know.

Really?
I feel they fucked it up. It didn't needed any fix at the first place.

With some of the weapons I just can't hit shit for some reason except when the enemy are very close, no matter how carefully I aim. This effects the thompson gun for example.

Also now when I aim it sometimes get stuck in the aim mode or the other way around, sometimes it gets stuck with the compass as well and other similar issues.

When next level loads in some cases you should keep the guns you used at the prev level. Instead of this you get some random guns which can cause some annoyance when you get shotguns while you need the ranged ones and of course you can't select the default gun until you empty your pistol category gun first. At least most of the time you can't. Weapon selection is bugging out sometimes as well.

None of these issues were present at the initial version.

They deleted scenes at the first level. WTF?
before we reach the area where we can see the night sky there were a fun long battle with many enemy. They change this scene to 1 enemy. WTF?

The only good thing they did is the new weapon sounds. Though they should have overhauled more sounds. We get some nice loud shooting now but explosions -like granades- are still the same shit. etc.

really at lauch shooting was clunky, couldnt aim at anything properly - now it works fine - thts all that matters
