Hello Everyone
I just got the contagion game, I've update my 4 computers to version 12 one of them too version 13.
The version 13 one I've just updated and now I get an error everytime I open it saying: No permissions to run 'Contagion'. The other 3 computers I have setup on version 12 but everyone I create a game whether it be local server or solo/LAN it gives me error saying: Failed to connect to VAC secured server and then Please ensure the game was loaded through steam and that contagion is up to date.
Anyone know what I am missing??!

Sorry, with my upload speed it would take me 2 days to upload the whole game...  But here's an AiO Update 17 to be used ONLY on a fresh REVOLT (u11) game installation... Attached is an .sfv of the current version (u17) for you to check your files...

Thanks for the updates. But does update 15 applicable to latest free weekend files? Those were the latest files that I saved...
Or how about if you change using version instead of update XX (taken from contagion\steam.inf - PatchVersion)? It will make the update less confusing. Btw, last free weeked was v2.0.9.4.

I actually planned to include the patch version into my updates' names, but unfortunately it's the same from update 11 to update 17 - v2.0.9.4... Anyway, the file "contagion\scripts_dir.vpk" got patched in every single update so you can identify your game's version simply by comparing the hashes... - Update 15: md5 (scripts_dir.vpk) = 8420089e778261e4fbc3f1c0d2794c5b
- Update 16: md5 (scripts_dir.vpk) = 5fb9e38e2444ca336d32ccfbe29ee464
- Update 17: md5 (scripts_dir.vpk) = 3644c2c636471370c91fb0e6f881a0e2

Well, the last free weekend scripts_dir.vpk has none of those hashes, it has 670287A72CFDB4356E961082EB48F09C. I never notice that they would update without changing the game version. I guess I'd rather wait for your complete game upload few days later.

So, I've reinstalled the REVOLT release and updated it successively from u11 on and I found out eventually that the md5 you posted is matching the update 14 file...
