You have to complete the prologue (or find a savegame in this thread).
When its completed, a message will tell you that Online is available.

after updated to 1.4.0 i no longer able to find game on LAN with other PC and play with my friend? anyone know the problem?...before 1.3.0 everything work perfect....using reload crack 1.4.0.....and steamfix crack is not working

devs blocked players from online mp if ur using any mods. that includes any "varlist_noise.scr", "varlist_dof.scr", "varlist_performance.scr", etc. make sure ur game files are vanilla

Not really. I'm playing MP with steamfix with these 3 mods.

Oh yeah, the devs did that on v1.3.0 not v1.4.0. To the OP: my guess would be to make sure ur updates are consistent with the crack. I'm using all FTS updates only.

Hi... I have installed the game dying light but i need to download and install update 1.2.1 by RLD and update 1.3.0 by FTS. In order to play the game as said in the help section...what i need is link for the two updates please...... Thanks

Heya all . Any news on updated patch with Hard Mode released today on steam ?
I've been waiting for this so long, now it really bumps up difficulty in many cool ways .

From the forums:

- zombies do a lot more damage
- Volatiles at night no longer are visible on your mini-map
- Med kits - now heal less, 50%.Not instant, there's a 20 second real time counter that slowly increases your health.
- Vendors don't sell ammo
- Virals do more damage daytime
- now the inventory/ skills menu is in realtime
- torch runs out of juice at night. You have to turn it off and let it recharge.
- and maybe more :)
