how is that possible? only big streamers can play earlier?

Yes. It's nothing new, publishers give out pre-release copies to Youtubers for more exposure. Nothing out of the ordinary about it. And no, you won't get one to send you the files.

Just after 8am UK time (GMT)

Probably by 8:10am

The Preload uploaded by ALI and the pre-load update files = full pre-load?

Just asking (again) to be sure, since I am slightly confused.

If yes, then I only need to wait for the sisinstall and "crock" to be released?

Will it be possible to play the cracked version co-op, like Dead Rising 3?

I am so very confused. It's obvious to me I am not as tuned in on this preload thing so I am needing to know if someone has the preload with the updates in one link to be downloaded?

I look at these threads sometimes, and I just can't make heads or tails of it all.

:)

Who plans on waiting at their PC until release? I surely do. I hope this game actually puts up a good fight against my rig as it has some hefty recommendations. I sure hope for smooth gameplay at 1080p with everything maxed out 4x MSAA (or whichest best SMAA/FXAA/TXAA, but not SSAA...), 16x AF, Ultra textures, etc :D I don't need 60fps+, but on 120Hz monitor anything below 45fps looks chopp-ish/stutter-ish.

There is no options like AA/MSAA etc and the highest settings are "HIGH" ;)

this is the sort of game i wouldnt pay for but thx to my pc i get to play it anyways, id be lost without my pc, having to buy any game that im slightly interested in wich i just cant afford, i dont mind buying games like dragon age, skyrim, fallout because them games are worth every penny, and dont come around too often, ill buy the witcher 3 for example for ps4, hopefully i can get a stable 30 fps at least with my aging pc

best cpu i can get for my 1155 socket is the 3770k, just cant decide weather to upgrade my i5 2400 or my aging 6950

You need to upgrade both, but if I had to pick one, it would definitely be the videocard. I5 2400 is still more or less capable CPU, but that 6950 is ancient for today's games. I suggest R9 290 (real cheap these days!) or GTX 780, nothing less if you want to run Witcher 3! You can go for R9 290X too and even GTX 980, but your CPU would be somewhat of a bottleneck for them. However, if you plan on upgrading to 3770K, then going for GTX 980 or R9 290X will NOT be a problem/bottleneck. If your financial scenario is exceptionally troubling, then all I can suggest is GTX 960 or at the VERY least GTX 750 Ti. I think given your CPU and guessing your financials, I would say R9 290 is the BEST bet for you. R9 290 the biggest bang for the buck - $250 on NewEgg after $20 rebate - you can't get better than that! I would even go for a 2nd hand one for $180-200 (if available) from eBay if you can't go $250. Make sure to have at least 8GB of RAM and SSD to make your gaming smooth!

Back to topic:

Why does it take such a long time to crack the game? Is it because the actual .EXE has been de-crypted by Steam yet? If such the case, then the crack will not be available upon release and will need to be worked on by the scene groups.

Another question is - do I actually use my legit Steam account to unpack all these files? Where exactly do I cut and paste them in my Steam folder? I do not want to get banned from Steam for non-legit pre-load version unpacking.

Don't worry about your steam account,demde/sam/fisher will provide instructions and unpacker and it has nothing to do with your steam account.

If you are talking about unpacking the preload ahead of release then its impossible but if you are talking about cracking the game itself then you have to wait for unlock and 3DM and ALI will come out with their cracked files.

Edit: Just wait for 4 more hrs and you'll understand.
