Really?
You get less FPS with 1.2.1?

yes...
all they did is reduce view distance, mine was already at 0.

I notice a decrease in performance too, try to do this:
alt tab out the game
open the task manager
go to details
select the game's process
set priority to high

I got a huge boost by doing this, now it runs faster than without the patch, probably they messed up with the multimedia class scheduler or we might have something in our systems conflicting with the game's priority.

May just be a select few... before patch i got 40fps which dipped down to 15 lowest (all maxed out other than DoF and 50% distance on the slider)
after patch seem to be getting 60 - 70 fps dipping down to 45 at most

yes but what processor are you guys using? I can't tell anything with guys saying they have increase or decrease in performance without knowing what processor they using. or video. People: Nvidia or AMD!?

I also confirm that setting the priority to High in the Task Manager inflicts better performance with or without the patch. Without this, I was getting non stop stutters when I turn with the mouse quickly. Now this is happening only in the first 10-20 seconds when I start the game. My processor is i5 4570 if it matters at all.
I have also set the View distance to 50% and even tried it with 70 or 80% - the game runs fine again, but a little bit worse, so I decided to put it back on 50%

Finally managed to get it to stay above 30 FPS with my R9 290s. Had to overclock my 8350 to 4.6 Ghz and set the priority to High in task manager.

Haven't seen a drop into the 20s yet. FPS fluctuates between 30 and 150 FPS.

1080p
VSync off
Textures high
Shadows high
Foilage low

open in notepad like usual and change the visrange to 1.00, save

this game is like the "future proof GTA 4" incident all over again lmao.. devs will put out 7 patches "fixing performance" and it will do absolutely nothing

Good to know. I got GTX 970 8gb ram and i7 4790k. I'm not going to bother patching to the latest version.

Some of the reported FPS is crazy. I'm getting 60 fps at max settings in nearly every bit I've played. There's one or two spots on top of buildings where it drops to 45 when there are a lot of buildings in view, but that doesn't last long. Playing on a i-7 2600k with a gtx 980.

Don't think I'll upgrade to the newest patch if people are reporting a decrease in FPS.

I have the RELOADED release and can't see my other PC on LAN search =( I have set network mode to LAN on both PCs and they are both using identical save file so they are at the same point in the game. Both PCs have the firewall off, any ideas?

As for the guy a few page back asking for a developer menu:
http://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/16

The dev menu doesn't work anymore in 1.2.1 so don't update if you want to use it. I don't have 1.2.1, will that fix LAN maybe?
