Guys I would advise you to wait until January for the second part as well. Many reviews are saying the game is not as good as the older ones (even 4) and that you shouldn't play the game with overly high expectations. |

kaoskrew 1.18gb (with FLT update 1).might be a way to check it without downloading too much. If it's good ,then u could get the full version. |

release information, bottom line. YEh .i missed it at first  The trouble is ,there was about 3 updates that came very quick, i think they used the FLT update1 ,that came out soon after the flt release. this gives u a bit of an idea about game: http://www.incgamers.com/2013/12/broken ... one-review note:Slight spoilers towards the end of review. |

Is there anyone that could confirm that the FLTDOX Update1 rel. is the newer one (... at least till now...  ) or it's missing too some newer file update ?

can't say 100% ,I think it doesn't have the 3 patches ,it just has the first update. or possibly it's missing the third,who knows  Though those patches came out so quick , if FLT got the files from steam ,then it's likely ,it has the 3 patches. EDIT: from FLT update 1 release date: Release Date: 04-12-13 This was fast, an update after today's ISO released. No information what's updated. Get this update if you feel the initial version does not work properly for you. We do not repack because we can't reproduce errors reported in the steam forum, so we think for most ppl, the initial release works fine ============ as demde said ,it's the same size as the original game,which is a little insane. kaos repack incld flt tupdate 1 (1.18gb) makes sense to me. |

Well... to be honest it's not insane at all... the game is built with only few big archives and ALL OF THEM have been HUGELY modified, (only a couple of them had only few bytes changed...) and I could just see that a compressed xdelta patch between the two FLT rel. is around 450 MB !! ... so i don't see anything weird in the update being the same size than the original, for what i could see (didn't have yet the time to try to play...) the "Update 1" gamefile folder is complete and it should work as it is, and the setup is only missing the creation of desktop icons and the OpenAL installation... and the last thing is that the orig. EXE file from Upd1 is not there... so if maybe they had called it "repack" it could have been better... You mentioned kaos repack... don't make me laugh, pls... it's a total nonsense in such a small games like this one... cutting out the two foreigner audio pack the game is already ONLY 2,1 GB, with a good ARC64bit compression it's already going down to around 1,6GB... where's the meaning to wait 20 minutes of install time to gain a 400 MB smaller download ?!? Anyway, i wasn't asking for a debate about "the DAFFY's sense" of the FLT rel. (and surely not for a kaos rel. ... ) , so if someone owns the Steam game and could check the sfv i did,I'd be very grateful... (... i know that the EXE mismatch, but i don't have the orig. update1 file...), just to let us know if that update could be called "the newer one". From what I can tell the update1 is the full game, updated, not an update. I only got that one and installed and I'm playing the game just fine. |
