Final fantasy 8 rpg game was launched today in steam

New things:

* Improve magic system
* New minigame (Mundochocobo)
* Compatibility with new Systems

Requeriments:



Minimum:
OS: Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8 (32/64-bit)
Processor: CPU Core1 2GHz or better
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: Graphic card compatible with Directx 9
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Hard Drive: 4 GB available space
Sound Card: A integrated Sound card or better



Recommended:
OS: Microsoft Windows Vista/7/8 (32/64-bit)
Processor: CPU Intel® Core™2 Duo 3GHz or better
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT or better
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Hard Drive: 4 GB available space
Sound Card: Integrated Sound Card or better

Chocobo World was included in the original game, it was just an external application, this time is inside the game.

It was already perfectly playable and fully synchronizable using Xebra emulator on PC but i guess PC will look better.

i will be so happy if games like FFX will be in steam, and about your assumption, yes because you can change resolution and make the game less pixelated

dont see the sarcasm in my words, even will be great to see that, square enix think that we are stupid doing it again, like with ff7 remake or whatever

guys relax i just put the information that they have in steam
where appears:superior is better
is a problem with the translate and also if you wanna now the audio/ost is not the original(psone version).

  • Black Box: 7.5/10 (Some nice self-made compressing tools, not really good lzma switches)
  • z10yded: 8/10 (Self-made source code)
  • RG Revenants: 9/10 (Author of all repack tools)
  • Seyter, RG Mechanics: 8/10 (Proper compression)
  • KaOs: 8/10 (Great (but lossy) compression)
  • CorePack: 8/10 (Fast release, grate compression, but sometimes incorrect nfo about ripped files)
  • AGb: 7/10 (Fine, but the installer is pretty ugly)
  • Dz Repack: 6.5/10 (Not the best compressor but very fast release)
