Hey guys, is there any steam-emulation method for running Fallout New Vegas?

Everyone just seem to go with the Skidway cracks but they don't work for me.

Since i was unable to find an appropriate thread, and was reluctant on making a new one for such a small question, i am gonna ask my question here (hoping its not a problem)

Its about the "Ultimate Edition" of Fallout:New Vegas. Can anyone tell me what exactly does the ultimate edition include which calls for such a huge space, like 18GB? Or am I mistaken, and the actual release size is low? I saw the PROPHET's release and its 18GB :S

Should i download the Ultimate Edition, if its worth it? If yes, then which release would you recommend? (No repacks please).

Ultimate Edition includes all DLC released.

6 bucks on steam. Best version for sure.
Otherwise I suggest you to download the latest version which has probably more content and bugs fixed.
I do not own the game, so this is just some guessing.

Ultimate is the latest version.

Fallout.New.Vegas.Ultimate.Edition-PROPHET is smaller, as it only installs the langs you specify - I remember my final install size wasn't 18gb. In fact, I used a custom install script to get it down to fit on a dvd9 using zip compression!

No guys, that i do know that Ultimate Edition is the Latest and features all the DLCs available to date. But i am concerned about its size. PROPHET's release is 18GB. A Steam-Rip available at BestRepack.net by Origins is 8.6GB. I found another Multi3 and Multi4 releases of PROPHET at IPT which are 7.5GB.

Just wanted to know if someone can tell me why the size difference I mean, I don't think its just the compression. PROPHET's releases are pretty compressed themselves so 18GB vs 8GB ... doesn't sit well.

the size of the PROPHET release is so big because each language has its own DLC.

@machine4578! One last question. If every language has its own DLC, does it mean we cannot use "just the crack" (for example, English crack) for DLCs to be in English?

Also, Could you recommend me a release to download, for Ultimate Edition?

I am seeing this release but the title mentions its Russian only: http://bestrepack.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12168 ... but it does include the English cracks as well. But i am not sure if the (English) crack will work for DLCs as well.

you need the actual language files. it wont matter what language crack you use without the ffiles

as for what release i would recommend.. if the RG Origins says RUS\ENG, grab that one.

is there any donwnload links to all the dlc, i i dont want to redownload the whole game as im on a capped dl limit, all i need are the esm's and bsa's to the dlc, ie dead money sounds.bsa, dead money main.bsa, dead money.esp, lonesome road sounds.bsa, ect ect, i tried googleling them but came up empty, so if anyone has those files and would be willing to share them with me i would gratefull .
