Thanks for the standalone patch, is it necessary for the game or the game will work fine without it

oncebluemoon wrote: Thanks for the standalone patch, is it necessary for the game or the game will work fine without it no, it's unnecessary. using the revolt release + steam is a better option imo because the server browser is working and more people are using it, therefore u'll find more people to play with. the original revolt release used revemu too, but we decided to change to using steam for connections. + the added bonus of not having to use some dodgy installer just to copy some files.
