Dvd version by reloaded IS multi5, but I don't know how to change language AFTER installation, if you select your language before the installation start, it will always run in your native language (menu and subs).

Yeah, well, they forgot to include the subtitles in the subtitles directory. Or maybe is a DLC.

And name texture folder propertly, no tekstury.

But the steam version exists or not ?
The RLD is retail, right ?
And where are the saves ?

it's made by a polish team, tekstury is textures in polish. they put all the localization files (even the subtitles) in the localisation directory.

@malcom: steam version available only on steam the scene/p2p did not release that yet.
rld is retail dvd (en-fr-sp-de-it).

RLD version is the DVD, you can check the nfo (and anyway the release have a DVD structure, not Steam structure).

Saves are in X:\Users\user\Saved Games\Reef Entertainment\Rambo The Video Game

But i'm not sure if '0' is the savestate. Instead of saving the progress is more like a check list of chapters done . This game is ... strange, at least.


No. DVD from RLD have no subtitles in subtitle folder (that is napisy in polish but ... oh well, random languages in folders). Only Launcher (loader_data) have multilanguage, game doesnt have other languages.

At least the original release. I dont know if they have updated a ninja proper release.

Why uploading spanish subtitles if RLD have spanish subtitles. Because it dont have any other subtitles.

I have the reloaded dvd iso and it installs all the 5 languages but the game starts using the language you choose during the install. yep the subtitle folder is empty but I can assure that i'm playing using my language and ALL is translated, even the subtitles, I added nothing extra. Subtitles.csv and translation.csv files in the localisation directory include all 5 languages, you can check using notepad.

I have installed in spanish, launcher is in spanish (more like spanpolishglish) and game is in english.

Weird! It's probably a game bug or... wait... is your OS locale english os spanish?

As long as you do not have your O.S. language setting on "English"... YOU DO NOT NEED IT AT ALL !!!

And... by the way... if someone try to use it on a working ITA install, the game texts (obviously) will become ENG. (...and the same it's for the SPA files, i bet...)

I didn't find any file settings or Registry entry for it, so maybe it's hardcoded into the RAMBO.EXE itself, anyway it's reading the locale setting and using the corresponding part of those
subtitles and menu translation, so that if your O.S. language is ITA, GER, FRA or SPA it will work on auto. Any other language it's using the ENG part.

Sure... around the world there are many guys using an English O.S. (for every possible reason) while their preferred language is one of those 4 other ones already in the game,
but there's absolutely no other use for them.
(you can easily dupe this behaviour using a Virtual Machine and installing an English O.S. version... even if you choose a different language on Setup, the game will come out in ENG)

How about you learn to use brain/google and try to find out if the game has even this option in the 1st place? Or just look at the Steamstore page? It says it has local coop so its not even crack related if it works or not.
