It contains the fix for the shaders effects compatible with the latest beta patch although it doesn't include my no grain film removal mod...

Its made by Martins/Sigma btw, not me, I just linked to the file, nothing more. That's why I cant include it with the No Film Grain mod...

Yep, I know that that the credits for creating the fix actually go out to Martins/Sigma, but it's still cool of you to provide the link and to spare us all the searching!

On a side note, why won't Capcom themselves put an option to enable or disable the Film Grain effect?

That's because doing so, that would turn off particle effects ingame, like the dust seen in the lights coming from certain windows.

I see, but how many particles to be see in Resident Evil 4? Only time I saw fog (when I was precisely looking, of course) was in that house where Luis Sera was captured.

But, I thought they actually could be able to make the grain effect individual and independent of the "other particles"?

Not to be rude or anything but...

Is not like is disabling the whole particle system, it only removes this specific effect which shares the texture with the film grain effect and besides the only section where you will see it is in the window of the room previous to find Luis Sera. So unless you cant live with this effect you are probably better without the Film Grain in this game. The reason why Capcom doesn't make it a toggeable option is because its an old engine and a port of a port so the slightest change could break the game...
