I agree with you in that is a BS excuse but they said that when they fixed the waterlevel black screen glitch, stating that they changed slightly something seemingly benign resulting on the bug and future features will be implemented on the ini first and must be tested before even considering adding them to the menu in game...

Anyone know why the subtitle option can't be enabled (it is greyed out)? I download the Black Box repack version.
It is also the same case after I update the game to 1.0.5 BETA.

And it seems as we're not the only ones that can't enable the subtitles, it more seems like a common bug according to diverse forums on the web... It's not a problem, it's by design.
English does not have subtitles except for codec conversations. They don't exist for English. Every other language, does.

beta patch v1.0.6 is now available it looks like there are only 4 new files for v1.0.6 compared to v1.0.5.. Bin32\Bio4.exe BIO4\gradients\gradient4.png BIO4\ImagePack\44000503.pack.yz2.lfs BIO4\ImagePackHD\44000503.pack.yz2.lfs _________________
