urbanman, just like other guys already told you, it's a problem with a mod that caused that (I already saw something like that, even if it was on a weapon i was messing with...) To be more specific, i'm quite sure you messed up something with a mod for "XBOX/PS button replacement" (cause that one is the texture we can see on your "Matrix Merchant") and maybe it could have been better if you double-checked the files you changed before claiming for a Capcom's bug... The game is surely full of shitty texture... low quality, yes... but between "bad" and "wrong" there's a large difference...  P.S. no-comment about your post on the steam community...

Anyone know how (if) I can solve the freezing/crash that occurs for me every time I play.. Chapter 1-3 in the Lagoon section not always in the exact same location but always somewhere around there. I'm using the 3DM v1.06 update/crack Thanks. |

I reinstalled this game for the second time today, this time with patch 1.06. After 2 hours of gameplay (first part of the castle) all I can say is that after the first impressions of goodness about the graphical improvements vs the old ps2toPC port, I now find this version MEH... 1-Qloc/capcom seem to have changed textures for the village only, a lot of castle textures are embarassing. 2-The slowdowns at 60fps are way too much for me, I play at a humble 1280x1024 with 2x AA and every time there is a frickin smoke, fire or water effect, the game literally crawls (a core i7 860 + radeon hd5770 is not enough for this game at this resolution and low antialiasing...seriously? )a question: I have 2 repacks (one by R.G.Mechanics and the other one by R.g.revenants). They are pretty and small (2.9-3.2gb vs 10+gb of the reloaded release). However are they "lossless" or did they reencode something? the infos on torrent sites tell nothing about this. |
