we are talking about Crapcom, I'm actually a bit sceptic about this. I always thought they lost the original assets for realtime Separate ways a long time ago  Unless they will simply add sepia version videos (like x360/ps3) or the ones from the mod community (with special virtualdub filters added to mask the lowres)

On that HD Texture pack video environment looks the same like in SD,meh okey maybe few percent better  Isn't capcom saying somethin like "HD environment" ? Nice trolling crapcom

It's not the same game. As long as this is closest to the GC version in HD, then I guess consumers shouldn't feel ripped off. |

Let's face it: previous pc version was terrible: modders kinda saved that but it still could not compete with gamecube's engine, superior poly count, lighting effects, 60 fps, proper mouse support, higher res textures and realtime cutscenes. I think they milked the cow again but this time for a good reason. |

Does anyone know if this release can be modded? There's quite a few texture mods for the first PC version, & lots of other cool animation,music, sound effect/voice stuff too. Doubt if any of these would work with this version, but perhaps if there's enough interest some new stuff could be created.. http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/b ... n-releases |
