Hey all!!
Good work on the cracks.

I have the R.G v1.0001 release.

Recently, I applied the copy-pasted patch 1.0003

It was going good for two days, and then in mid-game the audio stopped working.
I re-installed it numerous times. Cleaned up the registry too, in case some left over registry file was causing it.
Still doesn't fix it.

I decided to get professional help, which brings me here.
Also, I've gone through ALL the posts in this thread, but I don't understand how to 'update using steam'.

Could someone direct me?
Any help is much appreciated!!

I tried opening the link for the v1.0005 update. ESET, my AV warned me of potentially dangerous content. The website is apparently in a blacklist of dangerous websites. Ignored it, disabled it, and downloaded it. Downloaded a 'EZ Downloader'. I got suspicious, since the s/w wasn't very professional.

After re-activating the antivirus, multiple virus files including a SPYWARE, were found and cleaned!!!
(Check in the uninstall tool in your control panel. A software (I can't recall the name now) was literally described as 'SPY VIRUS'!!!!!!!!

I recommend everyone to use a trusted and qualified AV to scan their systems. I recommend ESET cause it has kept my laptop V-free for last 5 years. I am not kidding. Whatever floats your boat. You've been warned now guys. Don't be surprised if your credit card info gets stolen, or something else more worse happens.

Yeah. I must have unchecked it before downloading. d'oh!!
And to update this post, my audio issue has been resolved!! My DirectX turned out to be outdated. Now audio is back!!
Also, still waiting for someone to guide me here.

Thank you T3mpl4r. I'm using scaramonga 1.0004 + updates and there are a lot of mismatch for me too, mostly from (but not limited to) Spg2\Scripts folders.
