There is one that the author posted on /gsg on 4chan, but it is beta, and extremely bugged, so I would recommend to wait.

After applying new beta patch game runs very slow...
Does anyone experienced similar problem, and what is the cause of that lag?

Idk for lag... For me is ok...

Btw I think they updated Portraits DLCs. Idk how many and what specific DLC. If i find updated DLCs i will post, because i own only the game and no DLCs.

There is one that the author posted on /gsg on 4chan, but it is beta, and extremely bugged, so I would recommend to wait.

Thanks RezMar for providing this stuff so fast.

One thing: The portraits have been re-uploaded as there was a bug ("floating forehead"). Can you provide those new files again? Info: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/sho ... st18232347

(Paradox: I have now re-uploaded the portrait DLCs, make sure you verify integrity of game cashe if you are experiencing the old portrait bugs ( this will not fix the bugs with the new portrait DLCs, we are still working on them ).

Ok did u guys get that glich "floating forehead". Because i don't have that glich?

I think they update some dlcs (graphic packs) and they give problems and rolled back with 2.2 version of DLCs. But this is just my opinion.

It only happens on some portraits (like eastern slavic people, Perm etc). When you click on a character, his forehead texture hovers next to him. It's really minor and doesn't remove any playability but it'd be nice to have the updated portrait DLC.

Ok i have now updated DLCs too, because u get small portrait gliches if u don't use updated one on BETA version of game...

This will work only if u have game v2.2.

UPDATE ONLY
Crusader Kings II - Update beta v2.2.0.1 - Checksum (QEVO)


This update will update base game and DLCs.

1. First copy CLEANUP.bat in the game folder (where is the .exe file of the game)
2. Next start the CLEANUP.bat
  • This will remove all files that are removed in this version of game
  • This procedure will finish fast
  • Start again after ~5 sec just to check if the .bat delete all necessary files
  • Remove CLEANUP.bat if you don't want to have it in the folder
3. Now copy all files from UPDATE folder in the game folder (where is the .exe file of the game)
4. And thats all!!!

Use the same cracks from first page to activate DLCs...

Update Beta v2.2.0.1

MAJOR:
  • Fixed OOS in multiplayer if all players did not have Charlemagne enabled.
  • Muslims are now more likely to become decadent, especially dynasty members of larger realms.
  • Fixed bug where the Straighten Up decision could be taken again after 7 days.

  • Optimized message logging in Release builds.
  • Fixed a bug where looter armies just standing around would prevent peace Prestige loss for aggressive pagans
  • AI: Rebalanced raid propensity. Rulers with Prestige loss on peace are now more aggressive
  • AI: Tweaked Prepared Invasion propensity slightly
  • AI: Less likely to answer calls to arms if busy raiding
  • Fixed an issue with exiled characters' destination
  • Added a revenge event for the sons of Lodbrok against Aella
  • It is now possible to see all the laws of your lieges titles in the law view.
  • Fixed exploit where the recently conquered modifier was not properly applied until the day after a holding was conquered.
  • The opinion modifier for vassals for handing out viceroyalties are now only applied to feudal non viceroyals on duke-tier or higher.
  • Fixed bug where the opinion modifier for handing out viceroyalties did not apply for viceroyals in the history files.
  • The empty holdings modifier for garrison and levies are now calculated after the other modifier.
  • Tribal holdings now get less taxes and levies if the province is of the wrong culture or religion.
  • The opinion modifiers for being of the wrong religion is now increased for tribals against their liege.
  • Right click now works on mac when using borderless.
  • Family prestige no longer gives a bonus to vassal limit.
  • The chronicle now closes when pressing escape.
  • Fixed bug where the caliphate title could be given to vassals of the wrong religion, females and characters without the Sayyid or Mirza traits.
  • Fixed bug where the 99% warscore cap was not properly applied in certain wars.
  • Fixed bug where the AI did not end wars when at 100% warscore due to the recipient having previously declined a peace offer.

  • Children created in ruler designer now properly counts as heirs to your titles.
  • The decision to donate money to the knights templar now have its intended decision icon.

  • Saxon Blood Court event no longer gives you the Crusader trait.
  • Prepared Invasions are now enabled for Germanic Pagans with the start of the Viking Age.
  • Added some more Celtic realm names to Britain.
  • Several minor text fixes.
  • Viking Age event is now fully compatible with old save games.
  • Reworked system for Ramadan events. They will no longer pop in a bunch at the same time.
  • Fixed DND-flag and pulled adventurers out of hiding while preparing for a war.
  • Fixed Incorrect alpha for female muslim headgear fixed for the Early Eastern Clothing Pack DLC.
  • Now allowed some more leeway with granting "contested titles" while involved in wars and civil wars
  • Adventurers will no longer accept being invited to your court.
  • It is no longer possible to use the succession changing factions against muslim lieges.
  • Fixed bug where the characters in the era picker were unclickable after going back from custom game setup.
  • Fixed bug where the pagan versions of Coat of Arms were not properly applied to custom created kingdoms and empires.

MODDING:
  • Event spawned troops with an earmark can now be custom-named by using the earmark key and "_ARMY" or "_ARMY_OF" in the localization.
  • Added define for first year to execute tech, used for optimization, needed for mods.

CONVERTER:
  • Now norse_pagan does not convert to norse_pagan_reformed in converter


Btw here is the .sfv file to check if is your game up to date (use any .sfv program - like QuickSVF)

Updated the files but this did not change anything. (count of kirghuz still has floating forehead). However, did not crack it again as this was done previously and all DLC load fine so I don't suppose that is the problem.

Thank you anyway, it's really just a minor issue and not worth spending too much time on.

Okay, I started a new 769 AD game and couldn't find any chars with floating heads. Maybe I already fixed it -- in my savegame the bug still appears but it's probably using old stuff.

By crack you mean the one that just writes over ck2game.exe i suppose? Though I don't see how it can load old DLCs if I have overwritten them.

I started getting "windows restarting" error messages and some weirdness after I downloaded the beta patch you gave.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm a long time player of the Paradox games, and I love playing CK2.
Recently I had to change my OS to Linux (Ubuntu), and I had to search and read a lot to make CK2 run again.
But thanks to Wine and this release I can play again, and I thank you.
I just want to ask if this new beta update is safe to install. Or should I wait for an stable update?
My main concern is that I won't be able to continue my game if there is a problem with the update.
