yeah I think I was the 1st to mention the graphic bug on the maps.. Many pages ago now. Does not exist with any other download, up to 1.06 (issues seem to start from 1.08 and on) but if I use Codex, with 3DM updates, or anything really, other than the TROPICO_5_SSE_1.06. No glitches with that one. As soon as I update to a newer build on any base release, the graphic bug bullshit starts.. Ah well.. At least I am not the only one. Could be driver related, I am on a r9290x with the Omega driver. That could be the casue, but I'm not uninstalling drivers for this issue, lol, or looking for ones that work with this, if indeed any do at all. Someone else feel free to do so and report back? :P

It's not down. The site is tricky with browsers. It only works for me on internet explorer for some reason. Try that.

LaserGunJesus or machine4578 could you check your game against the .sfv below or post an .sfv of your install, btw my .sfv is from CODEX and 3DM update to 1.8, and still getting that graphics glitch. Thanks and cheers.

I deleted the files and still have that glitch, so it must be something hardware or driver related like BLuNT318 said.
Thanks for trying to help machine4578, LaserGunJesus, and everyone else.

Don't you guys ever go to the free kickass torrents page??? man..

https://kickass.so/tropico-5-v-1-08-201 ... 64923.html

anyway, someone try it out.. i'm already downloading it just to have it.. actually i will try this one first before all the other need-to-update ones..

but that doesn't mean i don't appreciate all the hard work being done.. because hey, this still might not work!

That torrent was posted yesterday. People check the torrents so no need to get all sentimental over it. It is not as if it was there the past few weeks and no one saw it. I packed up the updates etc into a single torrent and it works fine. I will also check this version and compare them just to see.

EDIT: This torrent seems to have the same exact issues apparently:

After a few minutes of gameplay (campaign) all the windows to build things go blank. All texts disappear. Why is that? :?

New DLC out. The Surf's Up DLC.

EDIT: Forget what I said. I thought the torrent LaserGunJesus didn't have it. Such a blind moron I am.

Which is why you don't fuck with public torrents in the first place most of the time. Public torrents are like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get.
Although I will say the public trackers usually have a lot of the older content that you simply will not find on most private trackers.
