This is just a bad game. Nowhere near as good as the first one.

This shitty controls is what many of you were crying about? The web-swinging is horribly bad. Going from one place to another in the first game was pure fun. Here I want to exit after 5 min.
The story is boring.
And the "randomized" constantly popping up timed secondary missions which you are kind of forced to do is annoying beyond belief.

Even the photo opportunitis are fucked up (indoor) or boring (outdoor).

The only thing in which this game is superior is that it's stable and no audio problems at all.

Though it's a damn shame that the first one was never fixed. What kind of piece of shit company this activision is?

Activision is the publisher, Beenox is the developer. They took the license when Treyarch began to develop one-year Call of Duty games.

I find this game just fun, i mean, not nearly as Ultimate Spider-Man but its fun and graphics are ok. Most of videogames based on movies just suck, this game not.

Can anyone share the config file for maxed out graphical settings? Every time i set no-fullscreen/language option the launcher crash. Maybe related to language, i dont know.

Try adding this to you registry:



Change and use the reg's accordingly to your install path, language and OS architecture.

Still crashing. Even in english (deleting launcher language folders) it still crashing (not the game or the language selection, the launcher changing the graphical options).

Maybe the configuration file that launcher writes is read-only for whatever reason but i dont know wich is that file, GraphicsPreset.xml just define the profiles and no config file is generated in /Local/Activision or /Documents/Activision.

Click Shift+ Click left and Shift+ click right to web Swing ....

Then this popped up on the tutorial: Shift + Click left + Shift + Click Right to build momentu....what?

They could have just simply Click Right to swing all this unnecessary shit I know they trying to make me feel like I'm spiderman but It wasnt really working since they started it in the first game....

This is supposed to be played with 360 gamepad, that is very accurate for swinging.

works pretty fine even oN M+K, dont see any problem with it

The game is OK overall, but inferior to the first one (even graphically), despite some neat but undeveloped ideas. The random crimes are incredibly annoying, repetitive and waaaay to frequent. Also it's too short compared to the first one.
It feels rushed and unfinished, probably that's why the marketing was basically nonexistent.
Hopefully the next game will be a true next gen one...
