yes but you have to play on lowest settings. 512MB could be a problem but as long as your GDDR5 and you run on a lower resolution you should be fine.

I have too ati radeon hd 4870 1GB GDDR5

But can't play because the game is dx 11 only and 4870 is dx 10.

It's not DirectX 10 nor 11, it's OpenGL 4

that would not be the reason... 4870 came out the same year as the GTS 250
(and the 250 is stated as minimum needed on a number of sites like game-debate)

It is equal to DirectX9 in terms of level.
