you can choose no intro movies on options of game ,i think. i haven't run the new exes machine posted, yet Try and find out about the dll file fix for ati users, it might help. i'll see if i can find the original article,i think it was a steam forum thing. sorry,i'm playing jade empire atmo I'd like to take the body assets of Radient Jen Zi and mod them into the kotor games. They use a lot of the same modding tools (or similar) I'm using a pretty good skin for her ,though. edit: you probably found this already : http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2168948The ati dll goes in game directory. GOOGLE ; atioglxx.dll kotor There is a lot of good articles about it. This one is interesting: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=315893

(does not take much time) @machine i thought you are more than capable of adding widescreen support to FiGHTCLUB's exe, so is it so hard that you cant do this? they protected their exe or something?

For SW: KotoR I, I'd recommend using " Flawless Widescreen". Essentially, it's a memory patcher that also does the GUI adjustments automatically (by hooking in the resolutions dialog). It's quite helpful if there's no GUI package on wsgf for your specific resolution, and moreover it does not require you to use an unpacked executable - but it works fine with the original Steam binary. JH_EP wrote: man, i have read it somewhere that steam version of the first game is more buggy than cd version and collection version is even more up to date, that is why i am asking you. Uh, no. All three are at version 1.03. Though, if you insist; use the aforementioned "flawless widescreen" with your executable. JH_EP wrote: come on, you have not tested your exe with an ATi card, did you? Both, KotoR I and II have issues with AMD cards in general. You can try this and prevent issues next time by purchasing Nvidia outright. It could be worse, as well - for instance you could have an Intel HD3000, like my laptop does.

Though, if you insist; use the aforementioned "flawless widescreen" with your executable. i dont remember where i got that info from but if found this in pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II which say that collection edition is more up to date. also this is what FiGHTCLUB's nfo say: Quote: READNFO: This release is retail and released just recently. It contains no new material as far as we know, but it does contain the two latest versions of the executables, found no where else cracked until now. There is however an equal versionnumber of the first one's .exe (1.0.3.0), cracked in 2004 by FLT. However, judjing by the size and other factors, we believe that our included 1.0.3.0 is a newer and improved one. Officially our release says nothing about it, but it should fix any previous incompatibility issues possibly had with Vista/Win7 as well as work for Win8. is there anyway to know if theirs is the same exe with different kind of protections added to it or is it updated? ChrisTX wrote: Both, KotoR I and II have issues with AMD cards in general. You can try this and prevent issues next time by purchasing Nvidia outright. It could be worse, as well - for instance you could have an Intel HD3000, like my laptop does. second game runs without any single problem, just first one is so problematic! @machine when movies plays, i get black screen but if i ALT+TAB out of the game and return back, the movie plays fine till end! i have tried UNIWS with FLT's exe and same happened. can you guide me to add support to FiGHTCLUB's EXE?

@JH_EP you cant add WS support to the FC crack because of securom in the .exe\.bak.. so either disable the movies or buy a nvidia card.

machine4578 wrote: @JH_EP you cant add WS support to the FC crack because of securom in the .exe\.bak.. so either disable the movies or buy a nvidia card. my whole setup is AMD! thanks for checking the file. in the meantime i did followed the instructions in "Troubleshooting" section of the wsgf which was saying: Quote: If pre-rendered movies aren't playing correctly:
By default, KotOR is hardcoded to play pre-rendered movies at 800x600 regardless of game resolution. UniWS alters this so that movies will play at the same resolution the game is patched to, this fixes movie playback on some systems where it did not work. However, some people have indicated that while movies played fine in the pre-modded game, they do not display correctly after modding. As a possible solution, UniWS's patches.ini can be altered so that it will not modify the movie resolution.
First undo any previous patching using UniWS (you don't need to touch the HUD files, just run UniWS), or use your backup copy of the executable. Open the patches.ini file that comes with UniWS in a text editor. Find the section labled: [Star Wars: KOTOR (1024x768 interface)] Remove the following lines in this section:
;movies edit 1 p6modfile=swkotor.exe p6undofile=swkotorc.undom1 p6sig=800200007515813DD8D17800E001 p6sigwild=00000000000000 p6xoffset=0 p6yoffset=12 p6occur=1 ;movies edit 2 p7modfile=swkotor.exe p7undofile=swkotorc.undom2 p7sig=80020000C7442410E001 p7sigwild=0000000000 p7xoffset=0 p7yoffset=8 p7occur=1
Save the file and repeat the WS Resolutions steps using the updated patches.ini and it is working with FLT crack! just one question is there any way to know if FiGHTCLUB's exe is newer than FLT's as they claim?
