I get 6 times error window "the procedure entry point direct3dcreate9ex could not be located in the dynamic link library d3d9.dll" then the game starts and looks better.
Is it normal to have this error?

It's normal if you use win 8.1

Use Steamworks Fix by Revolt. You will need another steam account to avoid being banned.

For playing mulitiplayer online:
download and unrar to main game folder: ftp://revolt:1234@revolt.loginto.me/Gauntlet.Steamworks.Fix.PROPER-RVTFiX.rar source for newest version:http://revolt.loginto.me/index.php?/topic/768-gauntlet-download-thread/?hl=gauntlet
Create a steam accout(in case you got banned)
Start steam first and then game from revolt.bat
You need to have friends on firends list in steam to invite them in game.

Thx to all the providers for all the patches and stuff.

I am using the revolt fix and it says language=english in the revolt.ini, but my game ist still in german. How do I set the language of this game?

I figured it out myself:

Anyways, language can be changed by going to Region and Language
-> Administrative Tab
-> change system locale to Uk/English or whatever language you want (that the game supports)
