How do you install and play this game.. I try and install it, but it just opens steam and nothing happens. Is there a particular way of installing these games from here, other than the conventional way of burn/mount, install, crack?

did you just download "Train Fever Update Build 4246-CODEX"?
if so that its more then logical that it wont work, as the name suggest its just an update so you need a basse version like for example Train Fever Build 4234-TPTB from the last page.
That one you extract to a folder and then you have to overwrite these files with the one frome the update.

•Improved screen resolution switching
•Fixed a crash while building level crossings
•Fixed a texture loading crash
•Fixed a crash caused by excess files sitting in folders (“.DS_Store” etc.)
•Fixed visibility problem of resolution list in main menu (wasn’t visible on small screens)
•Fixed sound of modern open wagons”

Hmmm... ever since I update from v4246 to v4334 (Sep 18th patch), I'm getting a popup window saying "SteamAPI_int failed". :cry:
I have no issue with previous updates up to v4246 with machine4578 provided CODEX crack, but now I cannot get pass the popup window.
Please help

weird.. i have tested the .exe i posted with the CODEX emu, and its working fine..
here are the exact crack files for v4334 i used for my test.

Did the steam files got updated as well because all previous crack files are exe only.
Anyway I'm happy now :laughing:

You need every update buddy, and in order :)

I will up another full version, all up to date, as of version 4363, just in case :)
