Ok, I downloaded Fable.Anniversary.Update.5.Build.867695-ALI213 BUT every time I try to launch the game an error pops up saying it can't find wxmsw28u_core_vc_custom.dll . Ist this caused by a bad release OR I'm missing something here? @huyustus I honestly am a bit confused myself regarding the exact version... My update is based on ALI213's update 5 Build 867695, but the .exe tells me product version v1.0.8767.0 and file version v1.0.10246.0...  @Gurlok You are sure that you've applied the ALI213 update 5 you downloaded on a proper base game release (e.g. from CODEX)...? Though it's AiO, it's not a standalone... I ask because the file missing in your installation comes with the base game and never got updated... Btw, I'm pretty sure that this particular .dll isn't the only binary missing in your Win32 folder, I bet there're 15 more vc_custom.dlls not existing...

@Christsnatcher thanks for reponse bro, i'm also confused with the many build...  @Gurlok  Update 5 AIO (xdelta) work fine on base CODEX release (tested and no errors or problems  )

If is not too much trouble: please, can some upload the Update 5 AIO (xdelta) to another site like mega, dropbox, mediafire,etc?... The thing is that zippyshare doesn't allow to resume downloads in any way. Also, other alternatives to achieve this are screwed for zippyshare: most rapidleech sites currently can't download from it, and the IDM option of "refreshing the download address" that allows resuming in similar cases, is not working for it either... and all that ,without counting the expiration time after 30 days of inactivity- |

The 3DM update 22 actually has the same files like the ALI213 update 5 (but not all, it's incremental) my xdelta patch is based on if I remember things correctly, so you only need to apply my update on a fresh CODEX installation to complete the first step you mentioned (18-22)... For update 23, I never downloaded it since I didn't use any beta patches on this game + I lost interest in the game generally), but I'm grabbing it from pan.baidu just now and I will make the xdelta patch from update 22 to 23 you requested when the download is complete... But before doing so, I would be thankful if someone could confirm whether update 22 by 3DM contains the same files ALI213's update 5 does (so u22 de facto being a subset of update 5) or not. If the versions aren't the same an xdelta patch based on u5 (the only update I still have on my hdd) will most probably fail on a 3DM updated game installation... Thanks in advance for confirmation!

yes the 3DM update 22 beta = the current official version(aka ALI213 update 5).. and the beta update 23 by 3DM is the current BETA version.. and like in my previous post, imo its best to wait for the official updates. |
