Im hoping for a chapter select menu, I saw videos of the demo and it had 2 levels to select so it looks like they could easily add it in
If not il try make my own with the 10 save slots then make backup of the save folder

the game runs at a full 60fps for me. no stuttering. just got to the part of the game after the owl knocked me off of a cliff, buttery smooth, odd thing is nvidias 900 series are having issues (again) but lower end systems are having no issues, i know xb1 is having huge issues. but this is kinda odd. at least thomas is working on it.

It's a engine problem as far as I can tell. Many pepole with beefy Rigs seems to have reported stutter and slowdowns, including myself. It's also not a FPS thing, my game shows 120 fps for example , but when the stutter happens it feels like a 20 with slowdowns, yet it still shows 120. Godbless Unity.

Hey guys. I downloaded this game from both CODEX and 3DM, and in both versions the following stuff happens:

1. The game randomly pauses during the prologue and I can't unpause it. The only way out is to click on "Skip Prologue". Then the screen went black and, despite not being able to see anything, I could still hear my character walking/taking damage. A slight restart fixes this since the game autosaves.
2. Apparently it wasn't just the prologue, the next cutscene crashed my game.
3. The game slightly stutters.
4. It takes a LONG ASS TIME to load the title screen after the Microsoft/Moon Studios logos.

I see that no one else has commented on similar issues... Is it just me?

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad
3 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 7770 Black Edition
Windows 7 x86

@Tomasin19

i have none of the problems you describe (i'm on amd cpu @ gpu)

the loading from the start it takes under 20sec and i have steady 60FPS vsync on with no stutter, no slowdowns and no crashes

i use this driver for amd gpu for some months since i asked @asder00 to mod it for win7 too

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=393257

also i used ali213 emu for this game

Thanks for the help.

By the way, excuse my noobish question... I only need to extract those two files in the Ori and the Blind Forest folder, right? Or is there something else I need to do?

yes extract those 2 files in game folder, but if i don't have those problems you experienced it doesn't mean it would fix them for you. because for some people the game works smooth and for others it stutter.i thinks it's something like game - hardware related problem

so scared at the moment when mafia posts, fear you post an update.
i am so burned out...can not update ..

game runs ok for me, little stutter here and there, but it doesnt really affect the game for me.
try defrag maybe if you have problems, maybe it helps a little.

Use window mode and vsync on. Fullscreen is causing input lag which affects the game's speed and that's why it might be crashing for you.
