Spoiler
What could be causing this? And what can I hope to do? P.S: I also downloaded the thing Mafia told me to download and the ALI213 emu... None of them worked. |

wel, you wrote you are on win7 x86 so you could try installing the x64 version.also that amd driver is only for x64 version of windows.other than that probably nothing to do right now only maybe to wait a patch for the game |

Tomasin19 wrote: Hey guys. I downloaded this game from both CODEX and 3DM, and in both versions the following stuff happens: 1. The game randomly pauses during the prologue and I can't unpause it. The only way out is to click on "Skip Prologue". Then the screen went black and, despite not being able to see anything, I could still hear my character walking/taking damage. A slight restart fixes this since the game autosaves. 2. Apparently it wasn't just the prologue, the next cutscene crashed my game. 3. The game slightly stutters. 4. It takes a LONG ASS TIME to load the title screen after the Microsoft/Moon Studios logos. I see that no one else has commented on similar issues... Is it just me? Specs: Intel Core 2 Quad 3 GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 7770 Black Edition Windows 7 x86 Should have gone & checked Steam forum, Still stuck at Start Screen topic. DaddyDrew a user there has made a bypass file ( Backup Original ) to get you to the save file choice screen, from there you shouldn't have any issues. I've added it below.

Rat =) Testing now... EDIT: It still pauses... But apparently I can unpause. So... I guess it technically works? Let's see how it goes with the other cutscenes. Thanks for the help! EDIT 2: It loaded the cutscene where Nana takes Ori away with no crashes, but when they get to Nana's cave... BAM, "The game crashed. The crash report folder named 2015-03-14_211858 next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!" I still don't know what the hell is going on... |

So apparently my problem was with the RAM because I tried running it in my Windows 7 x64 and it ran without crashing or bugging out... It ran slow as f*ck, but it ran with no problems... It seems my PC has Windows 7 x86 and although I have 4 GB RAM, it only lets me use 3 GB. I've read that it's possible to break the 32bit RAM limit. Any thoughts? |

Any thoughts? Yee install x64 bit version end of story... No offence but in my low-middle laptop from year ago i already had 8gb ram it's 2015... Also are you sure game uses that much ram? i doubt it... RECOMMENDED: OS: Windows 7 Processor: Intel Core i5 2300 or AMD FX6120 Memory: 4 GB RAM it's recommended not minimal...so game is 32bit app and won't use more than 4GB ram... Graphics: GeForce GTX 550 Ti or Radeon HD 6770 DirectX: Version 11 Hard Drive: 8 GB available space |

^^ Not possible, just better off reinstalling the x64 OS, if the PC supports it then it will use all 4GB. Its a limitation in x86 version, don't know why it was never fixed. |

Where a month's paycheck can get you a semi-decent computer worth of 2015 standards... *Ahem* Like I said, I ran it in both my PC (Win7 x86, ATI Radeon 7770 , Core 2 Quad, 3 GB RAM) and my laptop (Win7 x64, Intel HD Graphics, Intel core I3, 4 GB RAM)... Obviously the PC ran it faster and with stunning quality, but it crashed repeatedly in the same spot, whereas in my Laptop it never crashed, but the game runs slooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww. I highly doubt it's the processor. I'm guessing I'll have to upgrade to x64 soon... Boy, what a drag. EDIT: Also... 4 GB is both a minimum and a recommended requirement. |

Actually i live in eastern europe so it's not a first-world country...and like i said before laptop has a year already so it's not 2015 standard issue So let me get this straight desktop runs game fast and good quality and crashes. Laptop runs crappy quality and lags but don't crash. Reinstall windows on desktop my quess is something is wrong with software and don't bother with 64bit version while having 3gb ram... |

Apologies for the demographic comment. I actually have 4 GB RAM, but my crappy Windows 7 32bit only lets me use 3 GB. Anyways I'm gonna try looking for workarounds and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the advice =) |
