NBA 2K15 is free this weekend, so go get some ballz online (and updates, maybe someone could figure out how to use them with RLD)!
EDIT: Just realized - if you copy/move existing files of game to the Steam folder (you know where), you should automatically get all the updates, and after the free weekend ends, put in there existing cracked exe and now you have fully updated game! (Roster updated and new courts (?)) SO GO GET THE GAME!

Steam tries to download the whole game no matter where I place it.

No matter what you do, files come up as corrupted in game.
Try to move the updated roster file over? Can't use it.
Try the crack in the legit game folder, corrupted files so you get the rosters that were shipped.

Used same name in the ini file as the steam game profile, same crap.
So not only can you not move roster files from one computer to another, you can't even move them to another game installation directory on the same computer.

worked for me, folder Steam\SteamApps\common\NBA2K15

maybe take the steam game folder for which dropped the version pre-load that is identical to the original, because I've tried different ways by copying the files to the specified path and although steam copy all files to the folder by default 282350 then starts downloading the 40gb game, as if damaged files

who can update the game with rosters and would share a great help for those who can not do online

No one can share rosters unless whatever encryption on them is broken. You can't even share them on the same hard drive between two installations of the game.

But if someone figures a way to do this with the free pass weekend, please tell us lol. I just want legit opening day rosters

Its possible to play nba 2k15 online using steam this weekend using cracked version files and also to avoid downloading the 40GB file from steam ..
Just create a folder named NBA2K15 inside common folder then transfer all NBA 2k15 files from there (don't include cracked files) ..

Then go to steam library, you will see that you have nba 2k15 that has INSTALL button ..
Click install but it will still tell you that it will download 40+GB from their server .. Just go with it
then a window will pop up that says DISCOVERING EXISTING FILES ..
this is a good sign because it means that your files are being detected and any file that is missing inside the folder will be downloaded ..

Yesterday I made the way it came out but I descrobes complete discharge of about 40gb, today I again repeat the steps but I clicked to install the game until you have copied the files from the NBA2K15

Today if I the message "discovering existing files" and it worked well

Yea that works but soon as the free play is over and you go to use the cracked exe, steam_api ini and dll, none of the profiles will work. So everything you played this weekend was pointless, you would have to start over and you won't have the updated rosters because all of those files ( user settings, roster, career, gm ) get defaulted.

That is the issue. Like I said before, I tried just copy pasting the updated roster file from the free to play directory to the RLD directory and got the corrupt data.

if you use 3dm crack, copying savegames and files from steam to the folder savegame creating 3DM if you read the data recorded by the original version steam online, obvious access to the online mode is not loaded, but data from draft or other modification if read.

Nah still coming up with the save data corrupted.
I give up pretty much.
