I doubt we will ever see a new darkstalkers unless they crowd fund it. Capcom judged the sales on Darkstalkers Resurrection as an indicator that not many people want it.

So this will never be on xbox ever as sony helped capcom fund the game.

PC and PS with have cross platform play which is awesome, I wonder if they will use steam or their own platform?

Nothing is confirmed. At this point, it's all speculation. We'll know more at Capcom Cup later this month, though.

I highly doubt it will be released so far in the future. Rumors say a playable demo will be available this month during a Playstation event

If you visit Maximilian Dood youtube channel, you'll find some good analysis of the new title.

Somewhere I read it'll be out in Spring 2015. However, I don't know if it's true or only speculation.

it's said it's still in the early stages of development and considering ultra came out in 2014 i think sfv won't be out in 2015, of course i want it asap, the 2018 i think must be worng as well its just too far away, so 2016 i guess would sound more actual, really wanted it in 2015 though...
