Metacritics score (for what it's worth) is unusually high. I hope someone is working on a crack, cause I'm curious about this game.

About the game itself: I wouldn't pay attention to Metascore in general. A single number can't condense the quality of a game, not without context.
I'm now about 10 hours into the game and like it a lot so far. Basically, there's a great deal of puzzle worlds set in three different lands connected by some hub world. Every puzzle contains several sigils (colored tetrominos) and some extras. These form form sets, which once completed, permit you to open doors.
As for the puzzles themselves: They're somewhat akin to what Portal did, but focusing more on thinking than on speed or the likes. Sometimes there's mindbending stuff or even an outright deception in a puzzle, where one way to solve it seems to be the natural one but a different one is what you're actually supposed to do. Especially later on they unlock very interesting parts like a motion recorder which duplicates yourself and delivers very intriguing possibilities for a puzzle's solution.
Moreover, there are 30 stars you can collect. These are hidden somewhere in a puzzle world (the panel outside tells you how many stars there are in a specific world though) and grant you access to some bonus levels. When I say hidden, I meant to say nearly impossible to find for the most part. I find that somewhat problematic since you either need all of the stars or need to grind keys in Sigils of Elohim. Especially the first few worlds, where you're likely not realizing these stars exists or how the game integrates them in general will involve backtracking. I mean heck, after nearly finishing land B (there are A, B, C with 7 worlds each), I peeked into some guide and learned that some stars' location can only be seen by changing into 3rd person mode which I did not know until then even existed. In general I wouldn't mind the hardness of this, but you really need every single one in order to access all areas and backtracking later on means either looking into some guide or revisiting literally all puzzles.

Aside from that, the game's story is based on philosophy. There's this voice in the sky calling itself Elohim and computers that identify themselves as "Milton Library Archive". More or less, Elohim tells you at the beginning of the game that he is your maker and you're supposed to overcome these trials in his 'gardens'. I won't say more, but the story evolves a philosophical concept based on this.
Warning: Some religious folks are offended by the critical thinking the game suggests and interpret this as offense against the bible despite no such references being made. If you're religious and sensitive towards the subject, you might want to refrain from the game.

Overall, the above criticism related to the stars is pretty much all I can say against it. You're getting a very good first person (or 3rd person if you press 'H') puzzle experience with some philosophy tied into that. Do note that the story involves much more reading than say Portal did and might not draw you in if you don't invest the time to give it some thought and read the documents, and etc. Remark: Some critics were unhappy about the end of the game. I cannot comment on that as I've not reached that, yet.
Visually and audio/music-wise, the game does great. It offers a very consistent art-style (with only the assets being a bit jarringly different between the lands) tied together with a nice use of effects. (the options menu is also amazingly detailed, very much as it should be.)

tl;dr: It might not be the best puzzle game ever made, but it's very good either way. The story might be a bit inaccessible and not that suited for lighthearted entertainment as for example Portal's story was, but that can't be a point of criticism I feel - it's a matter of taste. If I was to rate this, I'd give it about 9/10.

So, this is 4th game this year with tough protection. Nice. ::D

Not nice for ARRRR! users

Not nice for anyone. It's not as if a great amount of folks who can't pirate their game immediately then proceed on spending 50€ on it. On the other hand, legit owners are stuck forever with the shitty DRM.
I know of games that were ruined because of DRM, but I don't know of any game that had suddenly vastly increasing sales from pirates because of it.

If somebody has the game, can you post the language file?

It should be somewhere in the .gro files (which is openable with WinRAR for example), in the locale\enu directory (I just checked the Public Test version on Steam, and the demo's texts were in "translation_Demo.txt").

if someone owns this game and could use LumaCEG to generate some .exe's, that be a great start to the crackin process.

-edit-
and just like someone esle mentioned, the game has similar triggers like SS3.
bytes checks etc.. maybe Steam006 can work some magic on this game to.

statistics say piracy dont affect really. one or two sales, whatever, piracy even is a cheap method of advertising, so the developers should sponsor warez sites.

^ Exactly my thoughts... I wouldn't have spent a single dollar on videogames if it weren't for piracy.. I couldn't have grown to enjoy gaming without piracy.

I wonder if they implemented some anti-piracy surprises like that immortal scorpion in SS3. It would be very well possible they slightly modified some puzzles so that they become unsolvable.

Personally I hope someone cracks it because I prefer playing games without Steam, even I bought it.
Anyway, the game is fucking great, I just finished it (16 hours) and it's worth every cent.
