When exactly is the game crashing? I just reached the "cathedral" or...something like that without a problem.

then you may have the same cpu as adolf_intel

No luck :/ Tried to load my "continue" save (which is in the temple where it crashes and it still does 2 sec after load) Tried to load backup from previous checkpoint and it won't even load it, just crashes instantly. Went new game, crashes soon after going through the door to pick up the 1st sigil.

Restarted the game again, picked up the sigils, went to the temple, crashed again as soon as i entered.

It has the worst kind of CPUID check which was spotted in F1 2014 and every cpu model needs its own exe.

F1 2014 was cracked though wasn't it ? i'm not much into racing games so i don't really know.

If this game has a hash check on the exe like serious sam then you can't touch the exe.

change 1 byte.. i get executable signature verification failed.

The best solution to avoid that trigger is to cheat.

When you enter the temple, quickly press "Escape", open the console with "`", type "cht_bEnableCheats = 3" into the console and "F3 Cheats" should appear in the menu. Click on it. On "Chapter" choose "RomeHall" and should teleport into the temple's hall, bypassing that check.

The same crash after 3 jams. Folder is "SteamApps\common\The Talos Principle" and it's no use.
