ALI123 works on local lan, but any sort of VPN lan seemed to fail (even with the port opened up on both sides..)

Ok what about game saves? I read that some users complains about save not working? Is that true?

About LAN... Maybe have similar problem like CIVILIZATION V. That game work on LAN but not virtual LAN because it doesn't use same IP range like 192.168.1.***.
But Tunngle created spacial room for Civ V and there you get this LAN IPs?

Could you try to play with that room and see maybe that works...

@RezMar For me 3DM crack was not loading saved games, I heard the same about ALI but didn't try it. I can confirm that the CODEX one loads saves fine.

The other guy has a direct VPN to my router, thus putting him in the same IP range ;)
It could be totally on his end, but not that i could find something, here it's all setup properly with open ports etc.
Maybe if i can find another test subject that i can trust on my VPN, i could give it a try..

Ok, I'm going crazy here. Got the 3DM release, cutscenes were in russian. Got the Codex release, cutscenes are in german. Rest of the game audio and text in english. It's MAD. I've tried everything, language in the .ini is english, I even tried deleting every DE-DE file i could find. Nothing, still in german. Anyone have any ideas?

It's not German.
It's a custom language they created specifically for the game for the alien race.
Later on you will unlock human campaign where they speak English.

Wait really? Then the russian version translates it? Because the first version I got sounded different, and the internet said it was in russian.

Man I feel like an idiot right now :P
