I have no issues at all with my PS3 gamepad (using MotioninJoy EMU) with this game, it emulating the XBOX360 control just fine on my end.

Don't know what the problems you guys are having?

I am currently playing with the Oddworld Abe's Oddysee New N' Tasty [R.G MECHANICS] Re-PK, no issues so far.

Here's my gamepad: http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-control ... sabertooth

As you can see, it's an official X360 gamepad. I have no issue on other games that support gamepads (ACU, FIFA 15, FFXIII, etc)

New fancy controller ? I have that pad from some quite time now.

And the point is, being an official controller and not a 3rd party one; where you need 3rd party software to make it work, it doesn't properly work in game.

Next time read the quotes before shooting such sarcastic comments.

I kinda figured that's where you were going with your taunt.

Never liked the feel of XBOX 360 controllers (thou... I do have one) PS3 controller just feels so right in my hands, one of thee best controllers ever made (IMHO)

As far as third party software goes, I don't have a prob with it... never had any prob with my PS3 pad EMU-ING 360 support.

An I have been using PS3 pad's for 3 yrs

If XBOX 360 pads are the matter at hand... then why are all these people having problems getting theirs too work

hi, guys. I got some questions

1. as of this moment, FLT and several other repacks, for example, here:
https://kickass.to/usearch/oddworld%20c ... order=desc
are all GOG, right? as of this moment, there's no one who upload Steam based release

2. if that's the case, we can't play the game with updates ever? as it's already known that sam2k8's patch isn't compatible with GOG, ie: that VC+++ run error or other crashes in some areas where they don't, if we play with the base game without update. oh man, this means, we will be deprived of any future updates then :(
but it could be it means the one who make the error is the update itself from the dev, not necessarily coz of sam2k patch.
so far people in the Steam page haven't mention any VC++ run error tho', so it's the patch then (till, a buttload of vugs in the game tho' there)
http://steamcommunity.com/app/314660/discussions/1/

3. is GOG itself ever update their games? the only GOG game I ever played was Alan Wake 2 American Nightmare, and I was a n00b back then, just got the iso from a friend and didn't know a squat about the existence of updates, so I didn't think much of what is GOG... if it is, I'm doomed :(

4. so how's the base game itself without the update? so far the update is only about gamepad, and I can manage with keyboard+mouse I think. the K+M control is working properly, right? no weird bug or something. if the game runs silky smooth zero problem, only that one gamepad problem, might as well get that GOG, to hell with that update and future updates. but if it's bug fest, ridden with problems, etc. oh man... that means there'll be more updates in the future and we're stuck with bug-infested game

how about ? does that only happening to one person or? b4 or after patch?

still can't decide what to do... holding it off, wait and see, who knows we got lucky... I means it's only a week passes now...
or... just forget this Remake from my head, suck it up and cry inside
dang... I played the Odyssey and Exodus on PSX... bye bye old man nostalgic moment then

thanks

Have some patience, there will be an update sooner or later and no need for this useless wall of text.

No ISOs on GoG.
