I was using the revolt mod manager, but it keeps crashing now, is there any new way we can download mods?

Well I'm using that exact greasemonkey script and I can download just fine...

I have Greasemonkey installed, but when i press the "install script" it doesn't install anything, plus when i do press the download button it doesn't do anything, do i disable the ad-blocker in the Mozilla, what do i do?

EDIT: Yup it seems ad-blocker was causing issues, i disabled it and it works like a charm now.

not for me. nothing happen even with adblock and other stuff disabled. I've try on firefox with just greasemonkey installed and not working too...

I just tested using chrome and this script https://greasyfork.org/scripts/4290-steamworkshopdownloader/code/SteamWorkshopDownloader.user.js, I was able to download several diffrent files from Skyrims workshop....

I've test with your scripts and it does not work but with skyrim mod it works.

Any news or workarounds about that? heard steam did an api change and doesn't hand out file locations to unauthorized requests anymore.

it looks like you can only download old files from before the change
Modders should use nexus or something else to upload their mods...

I replied to this issue in the Cities: Skylines topic. Steam changed the way download requests are performed and no longer work from a regular browser. As you can see here: http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/api/workshop/408156634 the file URL is empty, it works with some other games which were probably before the changes they made.

Thats very bad i remember one nice downloader where you can browse steam workshop mods and download them in one click but it stoped working when gaddons site was closed, now those changes in steam killed all hopes to make it work again
