Yeah me and Timo654 were playing a bunch of gamemodes earlier. They all seem to work fine besides some occasional crashes.

My friend tried to join without the mods installed but said he couldn't find the server... but while me and Timo were testing someone did join for like 5 seconds, maybe it only shows up in the lobby browser if you're playing TDM or something (or maybe that guy had the mods installed, idk)

tiplayer.Alpha\base\gameresources.index' is denied.", and I'm of course launching it as admin.

Nvidia has got huge issues.I have constant 60 fps at 1080p max settings fxa with r9 290 tri x.980 ti can not handle thise game at 1080p?WTF!The game is amazing deffently will buy.Games like that sould be supported!

Hi there, since this seems to be the only forum on the internet where some people are hacking and modding the shit out of the alpha i had to register ;)

Do you think it's possible to get "idStudio" running? Most of it seems to be in there. If you type "idStudio" in the console, it says that this is not possible in production builds ("idStudio cannot be run in a production build"). If you scroll up the console to the very start you will notice "idLib::SetProduction( PROD_PRODUCTION )". Another possible value ist PROD_DEVELOPMENT. If we could change the buildType maybe it's possible to get idStudio running.

I know that there are files missing but maybe it is possible to use some of the files found on the Rage SDK?

THIS IS A ALPHA VERSION INTENDED FOR SERVER TESTING

There will be a beta version somewhere soon which will perform better and has a single player part.

Hmm.. For some reason I thought idStudio was a seperate exe, but now I looked into it, it looks like it might all be built into the game :o
There's just a small check for the production thing you mentioned, should be easy to skip, I'll look into it some more now.

EDIT: Seems like skipping that production check just crashes it (edit: also tried by editing the buildType in memory), might need that SetProduction call changed instead since it might only init stuff needed for idStudio if it's not production.

Hmm, do you have anything accessing it? Is the game open (might be open in the background without an icon on the taskbar)? I had this problem a lot when I had it open in a hex editor too, make sure anything that's accessing it is closed.

You could also try copying your gameresources.index/gameresources.resources files to a different folder and run DOOMExtract with those copies, hopefully that should work fine.
