He tried to change passwords to some launch ramps or something when he got caught. I have to say its stupid to hack those things.

BTW don't go buy anything. Get a cheap old computer and install linux on it. That's alot cheaper and just as good. There are loads of tutorials how to make a linux firewall.
WOW  Respect 4 da man ppl ! I salute him for his idea... Respeckt{Ali G Style}

Maybe contains Norton all the crap you need, but the quality...
I'm using Sygate and Kaspersky and i'm virusfree and had never been hacked. (Who uses MSN could even stop using a firewall)
Using nice OpenSource-SW like Firefox and GAIM helps a lot.
A Firewall is senceless if u're using programs that allow hackers to get into ur system.

I got full version of NIS 2005. It's from original distributive CD. But we should buy it. I dont want to do. I've got crack for it and enjoying:) NSW 2005 are utilities for your PC and it does'nt give any protection (but includes antivirus software). I'll give you link to distributive image if u need. So contact my ICQ:)

k heres my advice..

I use Norton 2005 Systemworks "premier"
and yes the premier versions and non premier version
both come with Norton Antivirus 2005 !
(so re install it and look for the option)

Oh and don't install any security software at all
untill you have scanned your pc for threats !

I would suggest scanning with more than one AV !
I like Kaspersky Antivirus and F-prot as well as Norton.

Get f-prot for DOS (its free)
update the signatures..
boot from a dos floppy and run a system scan..

Also security software can usualy do an adequete job
BUT they can't save us from our own stupidity !
Be damn carefull what you give privledges !

And I think norton's 2005 firewall is fine !

I'd even post my IP here and say come and get it
lets see anyone hack through my Norton firewall
im not the least bit scared at all !

There has to be an exploit for someone to run
or a Trojan client or something.. its almost impossible
to try and connect to someone with a firewall
you need to find a crack in the wall !
(or someone that does not know how to configure it)
And yeah i've downloaded plenty of exploits (source)
and compiled them and run them on victims myself..
check here.. for an idea of what hackers
may try to exploit on your pc..

http://packetstormsecurity.nl/

Note:
Make sure ya have ALL your windows patches installed too !

maybe backup your stuff you want saved
and re-format your drive and re-install windows ?

@cue You must really feel safe. 'Cause even i found out, that you're using a cable connection (does this mean a static ip for you?)
(Your Provider: ok.shawcable.net)
Everything is hackable, i wouldn't provoke it.

You can do that with a simple IPTrace lookup
