Voted.

Old games with loyal fanbases are usually making it through Greenlight rapidly, see Postal 2 for example.

Voted as well. FYI, they released a new prerelease build for free to everyone two days ago through their website: http://www.ancardia.com/download.html
(seems to be the last build to be available to everyone, but a cool gesture nevertheless)
Mentioned on their greenlight page as well (that's how I found out duh), might as well link it again so that other ppl don't forget to support: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =258925365

Was gonna say that it isn't exactly my cup of tea either, but then I checked the download page for that build they made available and realized it can be played without gfx with just ASCII display.
Now that sparked quite a bit of nostalgia. Might actually give it a whirl when I have the free time.

Prerelease 23 added a lot of important changes since the previous publicly available one, so it's a good idea to show everyone the new version at its finest so far, and encourage further votes. The Greenlight campaign seems to have been very successful.

Yes, a pure ASCII version will always remain available. A lot of people (me included) prefer it to any sort of graphics, and its hardware requirements are extremely low. Besides, the levels are really well designed. On certain locations, like the underwater cave, tower of eternal flames or a very special part of infinity, you can almost feel like you're inside those places. All that with symbols and 16 colors.

Few nights ago I was driving home from another town where I held a meeting with my friends and some other people about some stuff that are not relevant for this story. When I exited that town area, there was a guy hitch-hiking. Even though I usually ignore hitch-hikers, it was very late so I felt sorry for this guy and stopped to offer him a ride to my town. The guy wore a dark-grey Adidas track suit with red-ish stripes. Also, I don't have a very good nose but I could feel a strong perfume smell when he entered my car. The first thing that came to my mind was "shit this guy is gay" so I stepped on the throttle so I could return home faster and talk to this guy less. That town is some 40 kilometers away from my town so that's some half an hour drive. I don't have problem with someone being gay but I don't like them in general. So the guy starts a conversation and I'm like just nodding my head to answer his question, not wanting to get into any kind of conversation. Haha but no, this guy makes a joke about me only nodding my head so I had to go with the conversation out of courtesy.

The guy then starts making questions like what do I do, where do I live and stuff alike, which I don't have problems answering. Then the guy asks me if I have a girlfriend. You don't ask that kind of question to someone unless you don't think he'd mind because you two have a close relationship, e.g. really good friends. Or unless you are wondering if someone's got a girlfriend because you would like to become his girlfriend. Right? And that's when you usually answer politely if it's one of those two cases, or not politely if it's none of the person's business. However it felt interesting as I have never been speaking to some homosexual guy (I met a few homosexual girls and talked with them but never guys) and I said "yeah" (although to be honest I don't).

After a few questions which followed, he asked me if I ever cheated on her. Then I looked at him and said something like, pal don't you think you ask too much. You don't want someone who is not close to you enter your private space, right. So after a few exchanged words I asked him very directly was he homosexual. Haha yeah. Naturally, he felt uncomfortable because of me asking that, I had a feeling he was starting to get scared. This is a country with prevailing conservative and religious spirit so it's natural to feel scared when some guy asks you if you're gay. I could smell his scare and told him, to calm the situation, that he doesn't need to worry and feel scared, I have understanding for that, it's okay if he's gay, I mean it's not okay but it's his problem, his personal matter and no one has the right to interfere. So I was right, he was gay.

To sum things up.
He wore a girly track suit. My ex girlfriend had the same track suit.
He had a strong perfume and a lot of it - clearly a bad taste.
He asked annoying questions about personal matters of an unknown person (me). Normally you get insulted when an unknown guy asks about your personal matters, so you'd expect other people to also feel insulted if you'd start doing that.

Is there a pattern? Clearly there is some pattern to this as I was able to identify him as a gay successfully the same moment he entered my car. Is that a medical condition then? A psychological disorder? Do male homosexuals have lack of testosterone and excess estrogen?

Homophobic Men Most Aroused by Gay Male Porn

Yeah I know about this theory, it's something members of LGBT community use as an argument. I am not homophobic though, I said I don't mind anyone be what ever they want to be, and I said it's none of anyone else's business. Sexual affinity is no different than religion or any other personal matter from this point of view. However what I'm wondering is - as I was able to instantly identify him as a homosexual, as if I have seen some symptoms and identified a disease, so to say - is there a pattern?

P.s. I forgot to comment the above article even further - i am actually disgusted by gay male porn. Yoz know, when you feel like vomiting? Yes, that. Even the female lesbian porn is not attractive to me. Except for the naked females part, where a guy would naturally want to have sex with such girl, if she is pretty of course.

P.p.s. oshit, rule 3.7 :-D

Moral of the story : don't take hitch-hikers unless you're gay

I get disappointed when I check Off Topic and see there are no new posts. I'm just posting this so you don't feel the same disappointment.
