Snake here. I just got home from gamestop and played an hour of Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands. The opening movie blew my mind to how much detail they have put into the Prince in this game. The controls are very familiar to Sands of Time, but have been updated a bit for even more ease of movement. The battles are a little different. You can kinda vault over enemy's, but you can now also stand on their heads and either finish them off or kick them back into the crowd, knocking them over, allowing you to finish them off, or to move away and pick off the rest. The traps from SoT are back, and with updated physics. I expect more of this game when I get further into it. The only thing I saw wrong is that Ubisoft decided to slap the same DRM found in AC2 (i'll talk more about that later if it actually prevents me from playing). So I was wondering, will you guys actually pick up this game? If there has to be a game you have to have this year, it's this one. Feel free to tell me your thoughts on the game.

We don't want this to end up like the last thread, let's discuss the game itself rather than "wen kan I haz pley 4 frii p|0x"
I've watched an XBox 360 review,6/10-kinda disappointing, but still fun.It uses the same engine like AC2 so Ubi didn't have any kind of trouble integrating it with their DRM.It's just a console port, probably with a few control glitches or major flaws.

I just played it for 4 more hours, and it's been nothing short of epic. Though I have been seeing some glitches, but nothing really show-stopping until you use the stone armor power. Using it gives off weird artifacts like a overheated video card to where i can't see anything (doesn't do it all the time though o.o).

PS:I can't play nor buy the game.
Too bad. Its really good. May I ask why you can't buy it?

No need to lock it as long as we are still discussing the game and not getting floods of people asking for a crack.
On another note, I have loved the new Prince of Persia franchise ever since Sands of Time, and have bought every last one of them.

How about if I thinks it's "I give you a warning and you get banned for minimodding time"?
I was thinking about it coz i am afraid a lot of ppl will come and ask for a crack and will start to flood like in the previous thread !

I suggest you leave the moderation worrying to the staff like everybody else does. You are equal to all members on this forum, start acting like so. You are the most troublesome member here. You always need special indications and replies to understand basic things. I suggest you get involved into being part of the community instead of the staff problems. This is my final and very serious recommendation to you. If you really like visiting this forum, I suggest you do it and just post and create new topics when you have something really smart and intelligent to say. Before you post something make sure it's not something that lots of users here might consider dumb, useless or old news. This forum is not an irc chan where you can just open new topics and post random stuff all the time. Just look at your join date and your post count and then look at mine for ex. You have made more posts in less than a year than I have in 7 years! Lots of users have complained to me about you and have asked me many times to ban you. I am not sure if you noticed, but you have reached your second warning again and it's not the first nor the second time you manage to get from 0 warnings to 2 warnings. I hope you are aware that if you get one more warning you are autobanned from here. You are on very thin ice, either you rethink your attitude over here or you will get banned very soon.
Im really concerned about the fighting system since you can't block and you have only one sword. And I never caught this in the reviews but can you rewind time?

P.S. i forgot u get the power of memory witch lets u recreate broken parts of the envirement u are in so then u can use them to go to different places and affter ur done with them they get back as they were...

My video card is all the way from 2004 and it's integrated into my motherboard,so I'm pretty much screwed. And also brand new retail games here cost 1/4 of an average person's salary even with our currency.I know there are cd keys though, but they require a credit card which isn't common here and not an option for my family. And like I said,I'm screwed so I'm saving up for a new rig.
Now about the game,I'm playing Warrior Within right now.Sands of Time amazed me in every aspect,if I had my PS2 then it would have been an excellent experience.Warrior Within took a completely different turn, blood, gore and fighting. It compensated the fighting scenes which Sands of Time was lacking. As for this one, wasn't Prince of Persia supposed to be a 3D platformer where you have to find your way from point A to point B,rather than making it?Manipulating time has always been in the PoP series and this is no exception, right? And the fighting system I hear that they've completely simplified it,Warrior Within amazed me with its 5-6 pages of combos, almost like a read fighting game, just cut your enemy's head of or just stab him to death or use the wall as your ally. And finally replace block with a special armor that makes invulnerable WTF is with that?It removes any kind of challenge whatsoever.
