Sony is making money BY HAVING GAMES SOLD FOR THEIR CONSOLE. They license the SDKs and development rights. So does Nintendo. So does Microsoft.
Increases of sold consoles in poor countries are NOT going to help them. If fewer companies develop games for the PS3, then Sony will lose money due to that, not make more money.

...or to beat your simple stupid logic: If they were aiming for that, they wouldn't have included any copyprotection right away in the console. Makes sense, eh?
Secondly, while you might think that the whole world torrents, that's not the case. Piracy percentages such as 90% ( World of Goo taken as example here ) for games are due to a very small group of pirates pirating a lot of games. For consoles, these percentages are due to the dangers of bricking the console, the complexity of the jailbreaking itself, and many people not even having the hardware ( you'd need a BluRay writer ) considerably lower.

...also the Xbox 360 'RRoD' issues are pretty much resolved with more recent models ( Arcade, S ). Plus you entirely forgot the existence of the Nintendo Wii.

It's reall great how you can prove every day anew how incredibly small the capacity of your spirit actually is. I am really impressed by the sheer amount of evidence you were able to bring up in such short time.

best_matrix I knew from the very start that you weren't capable of giving a straight and smart answer to my previous question so I am not even going to attempt to ask you how did you come to the conclusion that an entire country doesn't play or buy a certain console, because that would mean that you would have to give an even more stupid answer which I definitely don't want to hear.

Why the fuck are you so superficial and have to post in all the topics that treat subjects you have no knowledge about?

I am not the only one that noticed this annoying issue with you.
Every time a topic comes up and the subject treated there requires more than very basic knowledge, I see you pop up with a post there that has nothing to do with the main direction of the topic and it's usually just some side opinion that you have, related to part of the subject in that topic. And in 100% of the times, you state things as being facts based on what you've heard from others or on what you think it might be true and never based on some research and statistics.
When somebody asks you about facts, research and statistics you either change the subject or you post even more superficial shit based on your "freak logic"

My request with the lack of typos is simple to achieve. Install a spelling dictionary in firefox or what ever net browser you have and do not hit the submit button until there are no more marked words. If you can't even do that then you need to go.
