While you might not believe it, these tests do not follow any common guidelines for measure browser performance. It's like a Phoronix benchmark, typically unbiased. Media hype not worth commenting. ( Actually I am surprised by the blatant ignorance of that article, I have never seen such a bold attempt to manipulate the outcome )

I don't think that a professional measurement would gave drastically different results.
