I am trying to burn a video_ts folder to a DVD.

Burning was done with windows explorer by dragging the folder.

When I instert the burnt DVD in my laptop or any other computer, it auto starts the DVD. This means it detects it's a dvd video. So I can successfully go to the main menu etc.

When my girl friend (who I burnt the DVDs for) tries to play the DVDs in her DVD player, it asks whether to play MP3 or Pictures. So it does not work on her DVD player.
I don't know the brand of the DVD player. But is there something I may have done wrong?

It is a DVD+R 4,7 Gb 1-16x from TDK. The movie is burnt at 3x.

I burnt 6 DVDs in total

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Maybe incompatible DVDs with the DVD Player?

Try burning the disk AS a DVD movie disk,not a data disk.Of course that PCs and laptops will recognise the content and play it normally.And just dragging the folder won't let it wirte the signature information for a DVD player to recognise it as a DVD movie disk.
I reccomend using a free burning app like "Ashampoo Burning Studion 6 FREE".Although I'm not sure,but I think that Windows 7 has an option to burn DVD movie disks.

PS: For someone who has an HTML code in his signature this is an odd question.I mean you should understand this stuff clearly.

So I need a dvd movie burning software that can burn my Video_TS folder and thus generates the signature files for the DVD player correct?

I burnt it with Windows 7.

I by the way know why my signature is not working. But I am too lazy to change it. I mean, it's just a signature, it's not like my life depends on it, despites it irritates you, which can cost my head ?
