but what would they eat if all humans were zombies? would they die cause of starvation? they surely need some kind of energy thats the reason why they eat.
btw: is it possible to die cause of starvation if you're undead? if it'd be possible you wouldn't be dead don't you? if it wouldn't be possible they would be like a Perpetual motion machine -> they spend energy by moving around and don't receive any kind of energy...

1. Zombies require only human (healthy, non-infected) flesh/brains in order to sustain themselves and their infecting mechanism, therefore can't eat each other.
2. Zombies do eat each other, it's only that most of the time the average human that encounters them doesn't notice that since the zombies automatically switch their focus to him/her (possibly because of the healthy, non-infected flesh/brains) forcing him/her to fight for his/hers life, therefor leaving them with no time for paying attention to zombies eating each other.
Undead zombies are physically impossible due to rigor mortis. Once you know that, you can pretty much say bye bye to the walking dead phenomena. The idea of undead walking because they got infected with some gay virus, is the stupidest thing ever. There is absolutely no way that a corpse could walk, without actually having mechanical parts attached to it and broken joints. It's much more plausible to have bare skeletons walk than actual corpses by just invoking supernatural powers that move each bone independently. At least a skeleton doesn't have any coagulated blood and hardened muscles to prevent the bones from moving freely. Free movement of the bones is physically impossible when the muscles and skin are rock hard due to the coagulated liquids from all the tissues.
The only possible zombies that could potentially exist, would be brain washed humans that can fight, run fast and can't feel pain no matter how much they are getting hurt (which is possible to achieve and has been demonstrated on mice already). Another obvious reason why corpses wouldn't be able to walk is due to their dead brain that's required to maintain body balance and also send movement and other signals to the body.
So, even though they are fun and interesting to watch in movies, walking corpses are as possible as a walking tv or a fridge.
If anybody else here remembers, there have actually been movies with killer inanimate objects too. One genre was about possessed cars that killed people randomly...
So unless the laws of physics get changed, you won't get walking dead no matter how much you try.

Because if they did, they would suddenly become pointless If real zombies would exist, they would have to be alive in the first place and if they would eat other humans, they would not do it because they actually need to be fed human meat, they would do it because they are crazy and violent due to some brain fuck up that brings out the animal in them. This obviously means that if this kind of zombies would exist, they would surely attack themselves too.
I think it' safe to say that a real zombie invasion would be more of a large scale bar fight

The "zombies" from After 28 Days are posible, our race has the brains to do such a disaster! biochimical weapons and assets like that are all over the globe, maibee evem worst thet terrorists have such a virus! And Yes because there are steroids to make you strong then probably there are stuff to make you crazzy and angry too for sure! and even if whee dont have such a virus, than probabli some race from this infinit univers has, probabli for them it wood bee a comon cold, they just have to pay us a frendly visit, or crash by mistake here in some whater to infect it... they dont even have to whant to hurt us, or if they doo what is a beter way to do? Seend troops in combat [ for Burce Willis to kill them all ] , or to sent a virus and stay back and wach us killing ourselfs... and this goes for enemy countrys too, hmmm not that i come to think about it, maibee the aliens gived us the nuclear weapons... and now they wait ))) pffhahahaha

Zombies are undead,so their bodies are decaying,so they need fresh new parts regularly and the most simple and direct way is to get them from normal living humans by eating them.Simple,right?

The answer is simple: 1. Zombies don't eat themselves as they...well why should you eat yourself if there is still some other food around? 2. Zombies don't eat each other as they need somebody so they can talk, kill humans together, play together, simply: Make their boring life enjoyable. Have you ever seen a human that can speak "zombian"? But why they don't eat who they don't like? Well they can't decide who they should eat. They all have so much in common they all like each other: being stupid, same behavior, same hobbies,...

Zombies eat humans. Fact. Zombies are humans who are undead. Not a Fact. Zombies aren't humans. Let's say they are some mutated humans, enough mutated to call them different species. Eg, Homo Zombicus.
It is known that creatures do not eat other creatures from same species, or they do that very very rarely. Humans don't eat humans, lions don't eat lions. Following this analogy, that's why zombies don't eat themselves.
