So, Diablo 3 Beta is already available to download.

Will require you to login with a Battle.net Account that is allowed to play the Beta anyways so unless its worked out how to play it offline like the StarCraft II Beta we are pretty much out of luck unless accepted.

A lot of diablo 3 files will most likely be server side where as sc2 had all files local.
So it might not be possible, no one knows.

Well , just keep the Beta Launcher since the Public Beta is going to start Soon

Or : Somebody does the same thing like WoW ManGoS for Diablo III

Step 1: Download
Step 2: Have the original Diablo 3.exe file in the folder.
Step 3: Extract the file Release.rar
Step 4: Start the file called “D3Sharp.exe”
Step 5: Create a shortcut for Diablo III by locating Diablo III.exe in your D3 installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\Diablo III), right clicking, and pressing Create Shortcut.
Right click the new shortcut and open the properties. You will see the target as: \Diablo III Beta\Diablo III.exe. All that needs to be added is -launch -auroraaddress localhost:1345.
e.g. Target: “\Diablo III.exe” -launch -auroraaddress localhost:1345
Step 6: Input any user name with @ at the end. Example: Username: 123@ and Password: 123
Step 7: It should log you in and you should be able to create the character and join the game.

* You might get an error for Diablo 3, you can simply ignore it and move the window to the side.
* You might need to open up the port 1345 if you’re using a router.

This is just for one player? It is possible to play with a friend via LAN?

It's an emulator not a crack and you're only able to walk in the world, you can't do anything yet

Obviously considering the downtime, this thread has not been updated in some time. Of course since then after the SOPA protest, Megaupload is now offline also!
