The thing that bothers me the most about forums (any it seems) is that I am unable to find out why a user was banned unless I am a mod/admin of said forum. Sometimes when I browse Valve's forums, I occasionally read that a user is banned. Why though? I don't see the post (when I am looking around) of why they would be banned. Facepuch forums, well, pretty much anything gets you banned there. |

Usually their last post(s) give out the reason. |

Some forums do have public ban logs, here's an example. Most don't, though. |

Like b00t said, their last post gives it. Or you go to their profile and see under Infractions (for steampowered forums). |
