a) Patent law != copyright
b) There's nothing you could really do to improve the situation. The patent itself could be a case of prior art here. If not, then it's an absolutely legal way of asserting your intellectual property. Uniloc is a known patent troll. Yes, but how would you outlaw patent trolls? The problem is that you cannot live without patents. If you try to strengthen the requirements for patent trolls, that will simply create new loopholes. It is pretty likely actually that Uniloc can win this case. They already vindicated in a few other high-profile suits. Oh wait, nobody cared about Microsoft being sued for $338 million over the same shitty patent but the entire internet goes bottom up if Mojang gets sued.

The only reason why I'm not here laughing my ass off and publicly exposing my wish to see him bankrupt, is because he donated money to carmageddon reincarnation's kickstarter, which is very important to me!
So, I hope he won't go bankrupt very soon.
But you have to admit that for one fat ass bearded fag, to make so much money so fast from so little, does tend to upset some people, especially jews.
My best guess is that some jewish corporation that specializes in avoiding the law through legislation holes is going to rape his ass sooner or later.

The more money he makes, the more dangerous it becomes to keep them safe from shit like this.
After you reach one critical sum of $1 million, scumbags start noticing you and then if you go beyond the first million, they start noticing you more and more.
Last I checked, Notch made at least over $10 million.

I remember that Garry Newman also started having problems like this, after he got his first serious money from gmod sales.

It's a patent troll, such companies live off using their assets either gained through purchased or by a period of success within their actual business that has passed by (this is the case of Uniloc - they sold activation systems for try'n'buy software). Mojang is sued for patent infringement in Minecraft Pocket Edition. This wouldn't be the first successful app maker being sued and it's not going to be the last one either. Actually, Mojang was sued together with a whole bunch of companies:

They simply evaluate where they can press money for their patents and judge based on ROI. That's business.

* Because I know this will be said: EA owns Bejeweled because they purchased PopCap games. If they hadn't, Uniloc had sued an indie studio which PopCap was before the purchase.

It isn't about honor. Legally viewed it is money they deserve of unlicensed usage of IP. If you can collect money using dubious patents and sueing everyone based on them, good for you. From a lawmaker's POV that is the case.

Don't become desperate with this subject.
This is obviously not the right place where you should attempt to convince random people about theories that require lots of research and open mindedness towards things that tend to sound crazy and paranoid.
Not sure if you realize it but the subject of illuminati has been effectively dragged and transformed into a public term that can be easily found in sci-fi games or movies.
You can't talk about illuminati with random people and expect to be taken seriously anymore.

There are many categories of people that talk about illuminati.
Most people talk about Illuminati because they've seen a few conspiracy youtube videos among which, most of them were probably Alex Jones and now they think they are no longer mere mortals.
There are some people that talk about illuminati because they wish to appear sophisticated in front of others.
Then there are those that analyze world wide politics and try to form a puzzle out of all the events that have happened, in order to predict what's going to happen!
Illuminati is a name that's rapidly being adopted by the ignorant masses that are just willing to resume to believing a summed up description of who they are and what they want.

If you want to discuss about various masonic lodges and their interests in controlling various media trusts and political parties, you should make a different topic because opening such debates here is just silly.

Hm, I've taken a quick look at that '067 patent. It's very widely applicable, but it explicitly describes processes that use a registration authority with license data obtained that is hashed and/or signed by a public key. I don't think any of the sued parties does this directly, but rather they're using the APIs of the respective marketplace. I don't know how good the chances for Uniloc to win this one are or based on what exactly they sued, but it sounds a little far fetched to me.


Just one question: If the Illuminati are so powerful and secret, and control the entire society, lawmaking and what else not... how come an average Joe like you knows of them? If they can influence literally everything, then keeping themselves secret should be easily done, right?
