Dude, it's the future. There won't be any evidence-free zones. The government and the police can do whatever they want, but the truth is, if you don't mess up, you (probably) won't have nothing to fear. However, if you fuck up, or they have strong evidence that points to you, chances are your privacy will go down the drain.
Look, I'm going to mention a very quick example of something that happened here, in my country, with a friend of mine, just so you see how quickly things can turn, and you lose all your privacy in a split second, all of a sudden.
My friend sent an e-mail which was supposed to be a joke to a colleague (let's call her ONE) of his. The thing is, he used OTHER sender address, which was the address of yet another colleague (let's call her TWO). He didn't hack colleague TWO e-mail account, he used a fake e-mail sender, I think it was emer.cz. So, colleague ONE received a mail she thought that was sent from colleague TWO, because she saw the e-mail address of colleague TWO. Apparently, they pressed charges against an unknown subject on the police. Eventually, the e-mail was tracked back at my friend's house. The police went there with a judicial court order to apprehend ALL computer related material. Yes, ALL. They took 2 desktops, an external drive, and even a digital video camera apparently. And all because of a fake e-mail, that had some sort of poem, and a photo of a blond pig attached. I won't reproduce the content of the poem here, that he showed to me a few days ago, since I don't really remember it entirely anymore (and traduced to english it's not the same as the original), but I actually thought it was quite funny. A bit distasteful to compare his colleague ONE to a blonde pig, and making her think it was colleague TWO who made that comparison, but funny, nonetheless. And because of that, a portuguese judge ordered the police to make a search and apprehend mission at his house, on a Saturday morning. So yeah, you basically aren't safe anywhere.
Just for the record, he still didn't get his stuff back, and this happened in May, almost an year ago.
Thats not about fucking up. [[Please login to see this link.]][[Please login to see this link.]]

You have to understand the full implications, one of them is that your data will be given not only from companies to the state, but also the state will give your information collected to companies, its called PRISM.
Secondly you have used an single example, the broad point since introduction :[[Please login to see this link.]][[Please login to see this link.]]
Third this will give access also to fabrication/framing, of other facts if they have the need to frame you and you can basically do nothing, since they have this jurisdiction given to them.
