i noticed this strange thing with my person especially since hl2 is out and i wanted to know if anyone else feels the same: i spend a lot of time in front of my pc trying to figure out stuff about hl2 because my cracked version of the game doesnt work properly. so i get angry, i try this and that, and then suddenly it all works perfectly - i get no bugs, i can connect to any server there is, the games all run just great. and then, this is the point, i just loose interest... i just let the games collect dust on my hard drive and hardly ever play. meanwhile im just more of a tweaking idiot like the guys washing their cars every weekend, the possibility to play online/offline games is totally uninteresting. and i ask myself, why is it so important that everything works, if i dont even need it? |

Same here. I like playing the games online every now and then so I think it's just that we like to fix things and when it's not broke it's not interesting anymore. I haven't even finished HL1. I'm in computers by trade and find the same thing, if I'm not trying to fix a computer problem, repair my coffiee pot, fixing my car, etc, then I'm bored

omfg lol i hav all valve games and its boring playin them, just fun playin them sometimes maybe u noe now and then maybe.. and the only fun part is like findin ways to fuk with valve like me n H3llBoSS(mainly he) did  only thing left 2 do is make cd keys valid.. which im workin on.....

ive probbaly saved about 10,000-15,000 us dollars by downloading music, movies, games, and programs... and thats not an exageration

i think so...i had no problems though...installed it w/ daemon, then burned the d/l to a dvd (data, not cd images) |

the money one saves is really great. its not like im an asshole who doesnt want to support companies though. i just remember the pre-computer era... how often i would spend cash on music or a sega megadrive game and it would turn out to be bullshit not worth half the money it cost... now finally the companies get what they deserve...
