Many thanks, but after I logged in (replaced every file) nothing shows up and the EXE file just terminated. Whta am I doing wrong?

sorry... my English is very BAD

one bug i found. the emu does not work when steam is set to another language than english. in my case it was german when the emu does not start.

Perphaps im mistake with hcupas emu...but this program is not for play offline? i was thinking that is for this purpose but all peolple said about coneecting server...

And anothe question... i fix the dll with your link, and emus work but it requires now "steamengine.exe"
where do i find it?

All files you need are in that rar posted by hCUPa and a fresh install of steam.

In the rar there are four files....
steam.dll (fixed dll)
steamapps.ini
SteamClient.exe
steamemu.ini

and the emu looks for steam engine?
what are you doing for work with this'?
i have working two weeks for play with emus, but i cant

First u have to download steam (www.steampowered.com). Then u have to install it and extract these files where u have install steam

i test ur emulator and it works ok 100% on all steam games and

all dedicated servers and also source sdk ..


but there is a bug --Problem--

after about 30 minutes of creating a normal game server and about 16 player player logged in and playing well .. the server crashes and game closed back to desktop with "no error message"

this matter happend in Conmditionzero server and CSS server

all my GCF 100% verified and Complete

some times in CSS server i got this error message after playing

30 minustes " abnormal termination C++ liberary error hl2.exe "

and i have to end task hl2.exe

also in hl1based games the brightness option in video setting couldn`t be changed form default setting !!!

I did it...i install steam (d:\valve), download all gcfs and next replaced files with the ones in rar file...

Perphaps it doesnt work because steam was not in c:\programfiles....

SteamEmu 3.02b works fine with 25.Feb update. Played some css offline to see new maps without any major problems.

Some minor bugs though, shortcut commands (or 'launch options' in steam) don't work anymore. I use -console -heapsize 512000 but neither console shows up (at startup in main menu) nor heapsize has changed (still 255MB).
SteamClient generated desktop shortcuts are not working correctly (no icon, points to steam.exe).
