Hello, I got Connected with the emu fine ..my ping was 400 to 500 so... :P , What crack did u use to make this nonsteam dedicaded server?

didnt you just sayed that the emu didnt works for you?
did u try to connect via steam-luncher?, then its not stange that you got an error


hCPUa's emu seems works nice with me :D

I used monster's tut. Btw, your ping should be high for about 10 seconds, and then it'll drop to 90. Where you from?
Also, can someone tell me how to add bots cause mine keep getting kicked.

ok I'm curently redownloading CSS and when its done I hope this emu will work for me then I'm gona be in your server in no time ColdFusioN². hope there would be some people though :) .

i also have teh problem with emu not finding steamemu.ini and filesystem_steam.dll (or something like that ;) ).

hCUPa if yer need a beta tester with some cracking background/experience msg me.

Here is what happens: uninstall steam, delete valve directory, delete relevant registry entries.

I then did a clean install of steam and updated. Then copied the new emu and launched "SteamClient.exe" and it gave me an error about the network. I then copied to "Steamapps" a backup of the most recent platform.gcf.

Then it started giving me a completely different error message (something about not being able to load steam client).

Then, I copied the back the original steam.dll, and logged into a real account. Steam did something and then I logged out.

TNext I copied back the emu steam.dll. Then steamclient.exe appears to work, although I didnt test any games. I didnt want steamclient to use my real account so I tried to sign in as a different user, but that function is not working in steamclient. I deleted teh clientregistry, and it was still logging in under my real account name.

Then I copied back the real steam.dll, logged into steam, signed out, copied back the emu's steam.dll, and now it finally let me enter a different name/pass.

Two suggestions:
1. Some kind of "full installer" that doesnt require you to ever connect to download, update, etc would be nice. I would like to be able to install, copy emu, run steamclient with a generic name/pass (without ever connection to valve).

2. I do not know how you have this working, but it would be really great if the emu could use some other file name than steam.dll so all of this copying between the dll's wouldnt be necessary if wanting to switch between the emu and actual steam.

Wonderfull! It doesn't work yet but this is exactly what I need to make a reliable FuckSteam Server Browser 3. I hope we can discuss to attach it to FS Server Browser 3 when it comes to be functional or before that, hCUPa. :)

hCUPa is great cause it uses gcf's , but with it we cant connect to non steam servers already esablished that use emporio or other crack

could somebody explain how to get Garry's Mod to work with this? I installed it and it appears in the "My Games" list, but upon launching it, it just launches HL2
