guys pls help me while trying to launch CSS with DZ updates i get this error msg : hl2 demo cannot run in modes something like that plz i dont have money the buy the fucking game!!!

Hi ppl. I know that this thread only allows links. But i have to clarify something ya?

I am currectly downloading:
ftp://files.isurgut.ru/Games/CS/cs16full-v7.exe

Am I downloading CS 1.6 without steam, and it is 272mb, so does it require Half Life, or am i downloading the "CS retail", that does not need half life?

Previously i downloaded another CS 1.6 from the steamlessproject website, it is 165mb.

So is it true that the one i downloading now is CS 1.6 non-steam retail version? If not, do you know where i can download CS 1.6 non steam (no need CD key), and does not require Half Life to play?

Hweiee, you are downloading an old version of CS 1.6, but it doesn't require Half-Life nor Steam.
Download DigitalZone's release instead if you want the extracted version.

also, do u noe where i can get CS Condition Zero non-steam non half-life?

These non-steam games, can they play on ANY server? or only those special non-steam servers?

I don't know what version it is. Search for it, DigitalZone has the own thread among the stickies.
Extracted means that it doesn't need Steam to work, it's like any otehr game.
Condition Zero is also availble, and it's also in one of the stickies.
You won't be able to play on Steam-servers unless you have a HL1 or HL2-account.

anyway, i found out to my disappointment that the installer that i downloaded doesn't work.
nothing happens when i doubleclick it.

well... i hope someone can give me a link to download CS 1.6 that does not need Half Life nor Steam to play (online), preferbly the latest version CS 1.6 or an old version + patch. I dunno... i suck at this kind of stuff. Please help thx!

Also, i saw in another thread about "Info on all Steam cracks and tools" . What are those?
for example "Steam-Down P7"
is that like a cracked STEAM cilent, where we use to download and play valve games online... for free?



I dunno. Pls enlighten me on this. What i want is just to play CS 1.6 or CS Condition Zero online, without half life. Any methods or programs welcomed!

Teambob, even if you get their last update, you won't have the latest version of the game.
DigitalZone make their own releases, so you could get their updates instead.

hei Patch 5 FULL (10-08-2005) got auto update utility (AutoUpdater). It will automatically check & download the latest update for CSS that WE've (not Steam) released.
