you have right. and this is a problem becouse i have erros in VS2005 when i compiling hlextract with MT,MTd options. Only MD or MDd work but it propably include those dlls . If someone know how to fix this please help me.

ok, I'm a complete n00b, but please help me: I have the cgf, and I have installed steambuster (I don't have steam installed)... I want to play to half-life 1, and have all the necessary files been extracted by the installation...

but I got a memory error of hl.exe!!! error is 0x00000000.
if I launch the game using the main hl.exe, it appears the error that steam.exe doesn't exist.

why? did I have to install steam? the gcf are wrong?

half-life engine.gcf -> 29/03/06
half-life.gcf -> 17/03/06
platform.gcf -> 04/05/06

SASIO, with the last version of steambuster the games condition zero deleted scenes and day of defeat does not work. they finish the load abruptly and they go to the windows desktop. I have all gcfs updated.

please corrects this bugs !!!, thus to steambuster will be functional to the 100%

as commentary all the HL2 games work 100% correctly.

Have you tried launching it via the shortcut?

If you chose not to have shortcuts on the desktop, I think SteamBuster still creates them in a shortcuts folder in the SteamBuster folder.

it does not matter would have to work of the two forms, as much with shortcuts in the desktop like in the folder steambuster.

it is necessary to correct those errors, previously it worked perfectly.

My story with hl1 based games: starting them -> crash
starting them second time -> worked.

sorrenti run games only form shortcuts, if they dont work at first time try again and it should work.

soypaz2k5 maybe it work previously but Valve changes something and now its a little problem. But I have only problems with two games DOD and CZDS. I have this problem even with SBReV but it work after 2nd launching.

same memory error, even from the desktop shortcut, and for all the three latest version of steambuster (v3, v4, v4 final).

maybe the problem came from the registry? I'll try later to clean a little.

notice that i have the RessourectoR's vb file pack installed, and the SP1 - still got the hlextract error, so i've installed first the v3 version, got the hl.exe error, THEN updated to v4 version.
I'll do some other test...

in Main post there is NOTE when you can download MS VCpp 2005 libs. Download and Install them, then reinstall SteamBuster v4

1. Downlaod Cracked Steam Client
2. Copy your game GCFs to SteamApps of Cracked Steam
3. Run Crecked Steam and change Language in Steam to your lang (Italian)
4. Restart Steam
5. Run your game by Cracked Steam with changed language.
6. Now the language for your game should be start downloading.

I dont know if that work for everyone at 100% but for me yes.

-two HL1Engine games (Day of Defeat and CZ: Deleted scenes) now work.

NOTE!: Remeber to install SteamBuster you must have administrator rights.

If you have problems with installing SBv4 then check first post and download MS VC++ Runtimes. (look for NOTE).
